I was. Slowed down a little.

This morning I setup two jobs for myself, messed around with some billing issues, answered some customer's questions and started looking at the maintenance stuff for the Prius.

I'm sick of going to the damn dealer. Bullshit sales attempts and the wait really sucks. It can take between an hour and an hour and a half to get the oil changed and tires rotated.

Probably.

I told my boss, Can I please change the oil on the Prius, I'm really getting sick of the dealership.

He said yes so SCORE.

I'm still trying to figure out the recommended rear brake adjustment. It doesn't make any sense because the way that the self adjusters on the car work is that every time you press on the brakes it takes up slack in the shoes if slack is present.

What makes you say that?

Aside from the size issue I have with it, it is a very good car. Personally I would never buy one due to the increased initial cost and the very long payback compared to a comparable car.

It's very reliable. The main issue I've had as of late is the sensitivity to tire weight. I put a set of tires that were 2lbs heavier per tire and my fuel mileage took a shit. Immediately after getting the tires I went from 48-50mpg on the normal commute to 42-44mpg.

Really. Tires make THAT much difference on a battery I guess huh? It may be reliable but it's very ugly. lol

I'll give you that. It's also not very fun to drive. I feel more comfortable on the new tires so I've been taking corners a little faster, but OMG body roll fail.

I've considered it, but I would probably get fired if my boss ever found out.

Yessir.

If I had to use my own car for this job I would just use my Neon or something similar. I would never buy a Prius. It doesn't make financial sense in my mind.

I'd rather it be a graphite one. What can I say, they bought it, brought it to the office and handed me the keys.

Mine's better because I took the trim rings off, looks fancy now

Speaking of wheels, imo they should have went with aluminum 14" wheels.
