Turbodudey/quicksilvr MegaSquirt & Turbo Build

So...
I realize that this forum format is largely unused at this point, but still... thought that I would include here that the Turbodudey/quicksilvr (but owned by me, TurboVanDan) yellow 2002 Dodge Neon ES has had MS3Pro installed by me and Josh (Turbodudey), and is currently in the process of having MS3Pro tuned by Josh. This "rebuild" also includes Coil On Plug installation. I'll see if I can talk quicksilvr into posting a recent photo here... wish me luck with that.

Largely unused, yes, but there are a few of us that still check in everyday. And we are grateful for any new material.

Now is it functional, and does MS3 support it?

It's pretty sad that Syked tuned PCM's do not have the Cruise Control enabled. I love the way it responds with a non stock engine set up.

Josh just ordered some new smaller injectors. The 80# units that were in there couldn't run a small enough pulse width to have a good idle AFR. Idle itself was very smooth...but like 10.5 AFR. Just a tad rich. lol

So, he's popping the new injectors in, and then here in a few weeks Dad and I are going to make a trip out to Colorado Springs to bring the car back home. It went to CS so we could all work on it together, but didn't quite make it to the "running/driving" stage before we had to leave. So it stayed in CO, and Josh has been tinkering with it since.

Awesome, hope you get it idling better. 10.5 AFR is pig rich for idle haha. What an interesting setup to work on a car. Glad you guys could all work on it together for a bit.

I just read this whole thing. Quite the adventure. I love that new COP setup - care to share the details on it? I just installed MS3 Pro in mine as well.

Been driving the car a bit, working on the fuel map. It's getting better, but still work to do. It wants to swing from rich to lean and back again when the throttle is just barely open and the vacuum is at it's highest point. And at full boost it's not quite fully happy....too rich in some places and then it sputters and backfires.
