Whew the fog has been lifted! Looks very good on your car!!

Do you do all your installs in the parking lot?

Edit: I'm still uneducated on the whole HID thing. Are HIDs just bulbs for the projector lights? *puts up flame shield*

The chrome turn signal housings definitely complement the lower grill portion.

How do you like the HIDs? What temp did you get? Edlit: let me know once ya get em on.

Did not install the HID's yet, I got 6000k... I installed all the turn signal lights and stuff as well as the park lamp halo rings, etc... it is running like stock right now, the HID's go in wednesday -

HID's are a higher intensity output of kelvins... hence the 6000k, etc... normal lights put out about 3600k-3800k... SIlverstars put out 4000k, best light is 4300k, 6000k is bright white with a bluish tint.

High Intensity Discharge
its a ballast with a bulb at the end it burns cooler than halogen but it has better lighting. Its a Xenon bulb

The projector lights come with bulbs but they are halogen

And 03blackrt, I can understand why you may think that, and I appreciate the feedback. Too each their own though, right? :D

I'd tint your turn signals or something...kinda look out of place with the black projectors. Not sure if I like them on your car yet...

Well, doesn't look like I am going to be able to install the HID's - the damn bulbs do NOT fit in AT all... and yes, the bulbs are H1 as are the HID bulbs, and no, they do not go in... I can get it in there, but I am afraid of damaging the bulbs... and even with them in they will not stay put in one place... I dunno, maybe I will snap some pics and show you all, but I think I am selling the whole lot of them. :(

Bah, that sucks :( What would be worse is the bulbs coming loose and melting the headlamp housings. Seen that with stock bulbs.

Great night shots though

Well, ok - I just got the bulb to fit, and it works fine, but I can not figure out this relay thing - BAH! I am so confused... I have no idea what to do.

Wires suck.

You just gone one of the bulbs to fit?

Those HID kits are high voltage, watch out!

Hehehe - I figured it out. I just said forget the diagram and firgured it out myself  I got it working, they are in... no pics of night shots yet, and I need to align them even more than they are now. I love em! I drove with them on all night at work, and they are damn bright! Noone flashed me asking for me to dim them  But oh well, it looks hawt! Will post night pics ASAP.

Hey my friend saw your car and thought it looked good. Which is cool because he isn't even into Neons. At first he thought it was me and asked if I worked at NL again ;)

Hehe - that's funny. I see a lot of cars while driving around Liberty that are modded... a lot fo Honda's and Acuras, as well as some SRT4's and a few Cobalts... I saw a hot looking (no flaming!) Tiburon this evening, it was Yellow with a black top half... it had some kit on it, a small wing, and just all in all was really clean, and sounded mean. I liked it a lot! Anyway...

I got the Maddog 80-4 shifter in tonight, and MAN is it tight! And I mean that literally, not in the way you kiddies say it "tight y0!"... this damn shift pattern is so small that it took me a few miles of shifting and driving around to get used to it! I love it too, makes my car feel more sporty :gay: that is the only way I can describe it though. It feels so nice to not have to shift from Alaska to Texas when going from 1st to 2nd.. I did however break another shift linkage trying to get the Mopar STS out, but I had a spare lying around and got it fixed. :D I will post pics when I have a chance, been busy between midterms and all. :D

glad to see you got them in. what i did to get them to fit was use a drill bit just to open up the hole for the hid's. i can't remember what size i used, but i only made it bigger by a little bit and everything still fits snug.

What's next for the car?

Next? I would like to do some engine work now that the weather is turning for the better - prefer to start with some pistons, maybe DOHC ones, but I may have to wait till I do the timing belt, since I do not want to remove everything twice.

On a side note, I removed the srt4 spoiler and installed some color matched plugs - not sure how I feel about it yet, so I will post pics once the rain stops  Supposed to rain for two straight days, maybe into a third. We will see. I am also thinking of installing the 1gn RT springs again for the summer. I love the look of the lowered booty on the ACR... just not that fun to drive in when you deliver pizzas - I drive like 500 miles a week.

I am glad he removed the spoiler! It looked good an all, but it looked better without it in my honest opinion. Besides, ACR's didn't come with spoilers... Hopefully those plugs hold up in the rain. Yes its been raining like crazy here too! Let me know when you do the timing belt andrew, I would like to help out and gain knowledge. Cause I want to do mine at the end of the year or maybe next year, along with a new water pump and tensioner.

I still can't believe you are still on your stock struts! Those ACR struts are tough as sh1t!

:withstupid: I'm considering that shifter you have, just so I don't have to replace boogers in the future. Are you missing shifts much?
