The car is running great! I love the extra power and you can't even tell the a/c compressor is kicking on with the under drive pulley on. The car seems to really take off at 4k but power is def. added from 2500 and up.

I ended up putting a screw in the intake manifold to prevent the butterflies from moving so they are fixed open.

Here is the pretty setup:

Image

The BC's are totally in! I made the rear a little too high so the wheels will have to come off again:(.

Next on the list is to put my new front 24mm srt sway and my older rear 22mm. Thursday I will need to make an appt. to get my tie rods done and get an alignment. Then I will call it quits for awhile.

After a little more research on the Fidanza cam gear today, I found that the timing marks which have the degrees listed is actually where you want to mark your TDC. I am very lucky nothing broke by using the other mark. Tho, I am also very lucky we did have to tear the car back down because the fidanza cam gear's adjusting nuts were eating away at the timing cover, of course you would never know until you took it off again.

don't trash those NEX's. I might scoop em off you shortly (if you sell them, I know a swaybar tab is busted.)

So i found a coolant leak. there is a hole in the hard line just before it connects to a rubber hose and goes into the cylinder head.

Any ideas on how to fix a hole in the hard line due to rust?

Coolant leaks? No that was the waterpump taking a nosedive into autoparts hell. The hard lines are fine.

I thought you had a leak in the hard line and cut the end of the hard line and put a new sleeve on the end.

Umm, no :angry7: I'll pop the hood and triple check. The only thing that I recall splicing off was the short rubber hose that connected the hard line to the head...

Blasted intake manifold, there is absolutely no room for my hand to get in there to do a temp. tape job on the break. I am going to have to wait till this weekend when i have time to take the manifold off.

The coolant lines finally came in. it only took dodge parts 1 week to ship em.

Looks like the coolant leak is the least of my problems. The trans mount let go while rev matching so now I need a new mount and bolt.

I hope the victor insert works with my new tranny mount. The car always felt weird with race motor mount inserts but no tranny insert.

well i came down with the flu and I need to get the roadworthy for the trip back home next week. so, the car is at midas. The mechanic remembers my car so its kinda comforting. I hope it comes back in one piece and the bill isn't more than I can stomic.

well got the car back, and it runs pretty good. The trans mount had to be torn up pretty badly because i feel torque immediately when i engage the clutch. I was a little worried that there was coolant splashed all around under the hood when i got the car back but there seems to be no leaks, I think that must have been caused during the repair.

I really need to do the trans mount in my SRT, the only mount I haven't done yet. This just cements it in my mind that I need to do it.
