Well I've had another setback, my crappy Ebay style intake has done it again and the filter has fallen off due to some tire rubbing issues. I have a 600mile road trip this weekend so i had to jump on it and i got my new K&N filter today. But, I am soo tired of this intake being a nuisance and thanks to Mat00ES I have a new iceman intake on the way :). Now i just have to buy, yet another filter because the iceman needs a 3" diameter filter :facepalm3:

So maybe neonslg09 will get his pic updates after all ;).

yay the iceman intake is here thanks to Mat00ES. The intake is huge tho, i had to get a 3.5" filter, had to use a 2.5" to 3" coupler to get the beast onto the TB . My only problem is i don't have a 3" hose clamp so the install will be delayed a little bit :P.

I can't believe an intake is that hard to put in, There is just no room for anything to move, Then again its probably a good thing. It fits 10000x in the fender well better than the last one. There is plenty of clearance between the inner fender liner and the intake so i won't have rubbing issues like i did before.

Yeah its almost too big, I need to work on the silicone couplers some more there is a huge leak in the one just after the TB, my car can't rev right. I wish i could work on it but its 40degrees and pouring out, good thing I have good roommates to cart me around for now :).

the sun came out so i got to fix my intake. The silicone coupler on the bellows tube wasn't tight and i found out why, the hose clamp was stripped. Luckly I had an extra so I was able to clamp that sucker down and no more leak!.

The iceman intake doesn't to the whooshing noise that the ebay one did. So ppl won't think I am turbo ed anymore. Didn't notice any difference in throttle response at all. Tho, the piping does fit much butter in the fender well and my tire clears on right hand turns now!

I still like the sound though.

I've been driving the car around alot more now that the sun has finally showed itself and the ICEMAN defiantly didn't' increase throttle response but holy hell did it help my low end. If you gradually put the throttle on when u start up the car has more balls than ever but, as soon as you dip into 4k the car's power band starts to level off. I really need that butterfly motor so i can change that!

I always thought that "whooshing" sound from the CAI was just from me and my install. Glad to know it's not user error lol.

Car looks really good man. Lovin the new intake.

OK I AM PISSED!!! I mentioned before that modern performance receives all BC coils with rear camber plates now in each box but, they still charged extra for you to purchase them. Well they just CUT THEIR DAMN PRICES GRRRR, I could have saved $180!!!!!

Well had a road trip from Rochester NY to Sugarloaf,ME last week and the front speaker blew and annoyed me enough that I went online and bought some new components :).

Image

they seemed to work fine with the stock headunit so far but I will be adding an Alpine KTP-445 which will boost the output of my headunit from 18watts RMS to 45watts rms per channel.
