dude i think you got carried away with the hole shaving in the engine bay. from this pic you posted you can tell you shaved the holes for the radiatore plates.

Got the dash pretty much ready to be welded in today. All thats really left is some minor body work & i have to cut a hole for the Head Unit. So next time you see me post pics, it should be of the dash welded into the car

not sure if that dash will look right in a neon...but you seem to make things that normally wouldn't look good on a neon look great!
i just can't wait to see the car completed....even though most cars are never done, just a never ending project.

I'm not a huge fan of chrome so to give you an idea of how little the amount of chrome there is on this dash, here's the same dash in one of my favorite minitrucks

Just got the dash mounted in the car, now i have to sheet metal in the gaps / holes & then i can get the bay painted!! I also found a motor that i plan on picking up later this week, hopefully friday if i'm lucky!!

it's weird because i'm Driving to Paris to pick it up, but yet i don't have to cross any ocean to get there lol.......................................It's a stock 2.sl0w with 70k miles located in Paris, Tx, thats just north of Dallas

i see... i thought you were gonna do another out of this world fabrication and drop like a chev 350 in it.

but an engine with less miles is usually worth it in the long run

its not just the less miles im after. My current motor has a nasty oil leak due to the valve cover bolts being broke off in the head. Plus it has a few other problems i don't feel like dealing with.

nope, it will be painted to match the current interior (dark gray & black) until about this time next year when i have the interior redone
