I took the car for a test run and the car is spiking in 9-10 psi on the low settings.. soooo I need to figure out what the issues is.

Any thoughts????

I put a couple of clicks in it and it leveled out to 6-7 lbs right now. I still need to tweak it up to 8-9.

I"ll keep running it to see.

Leave it at 6-7 for now bro.. Your stock injectors are gonna be maxed out..

Get yourself some 24lbers before you up the boost further..

yeah. its running a lot smoother now. Still trying to find who will be heading to S.A. I know that you can't make it. Kirk and Jason are still up in the air... I guess I should have kept my plans for San Diego...

Do you know anyone else that might want to roll out there?

Does that new turbo timer also have a wideband? I was guessing yes b/c the 13.x reading on it.. If so cool if not ditch the SRT narrowband and get a AEM wideband. If you are pushing stock injectors (and I would not) you need to know your AFR's before a rod takes the exit ramp before you do.

: )

Fire~

the 13.x was actually the voltage you were seeing. I'm still using the Narrowband due to i'm not spending 300 + dollars right now for a wideband. I'm not driving hard and no racing. So it can wait. I still need to upgrade the stocks, but again it will get done.

sooner or later.

Yea jason, its not really needed if he doesn't have some controlling fuel electronic besides the ecu.. It'll be just a light show..

Nate: I see 24lbers on neons.org and here sometimes for like $30-$40 shipped.. They're the same lenght as the stockers so you won't have any probs with them.. Chad had some forsale a while back, not sure if he still does or not..

if on a budget you can only afford a narrow band, under boost make sure the A/F gauge only shows 4 green bars, this should put you around 12-11AF range and should be good enough to be safe. If you are looking for a WB on a budget, get the LM1 like I did, costed around $200 and it comes with software to use any PC as the WB gauge or you can use your existing narrow band as the read out...

Well... this morning started the car up and get an engine light... I'm not building any boost. VAC is at 20, but on throttle I stay at 0. SO... I'm not sure. Had to drive the car to work so the wife can use the SUV.... Need to look where my leak is at. If it isn't one thing... its another.

The engine code is a small emission leak.... so look like I will be looking at this on my lunch.

Maybe one of the evap lines came off, creating a major boost leak?

Well the car is back up and running. I got the car cleaned up and did the local Charity show on Saturday. Took Best 4 door Domestic at the show, but eveyone bailed on going to the S.A show, so I wasn't going to drive all that way on my own.. No fun showing by yourself.

So We have another show in January from IFO, so I will plan on going to that one instead. Took tons of pics, but will post them up soon.

I don't like pinstriping.....but.....that looks insane!! Congratz on the win. Was darksyde at the modern meet? I saw his name on a bunch of cars.

Lemme know if you still want those 24lb injectors man. I'll trade ya for your stock ones if you pay for shipping. I just want to have some that I can test MS units with.

I think Darksyde was there at the Modern Meet. He does powdercoating for a lot of SRT guys. I think I might be using him shortly. to redo my engine...

I seriously intrested on the injectors. Are they just plug and play?

Holy Crap!!! I can't believe its been almost a year since I've been on the site.. Been busy with my Masters, and work. Haven't done much with the car this year, I did pick up Stage 1 Injectors which might help me out on the turbo setup. Car is still running strong. Might be working on some of the details of the car with interior and exterior again in the spring. Might give my buddy Dan a call on switching to air, and some paint repairs....

I should be at the Modern Meet coming up, so if anyone wants to meet up let me know. Until then...
