yeah I konw.. lol I asked a buddy of mine to give it to him and he hung on it for a month and forgot to give it to him.. Then I was out of town with work, so finally I said fk it and drove it up there to him. That reminds me I need to get with him today to pick it up. I hope to purchase the fuel fittings today to finish up the fuel tank, but we will see how work goes. The damn speed shop here closes early as hell.

Thanks!

I picked up my adapter -8AN male to -6AN male fitting to reduce to work with the fuel line I purchased yesterday. 17 feet of pushloc 400 psi fuel line. THis will be a temporary fix, until I do SS braided lines ( 8.00 a foot) or make a custom hard line.

I will try to get pics up this weekend of what I have done. I'm still trying to get that last bolt in on the manifold, I'm thinking that the SRT adapter plate might be off on this one hole. If that is the case, then I'm kinda at another stand still, unless I start looking for a T3 /T4 flange and start over....

I'm going to loosen all the bolts again today and see if I can line all the holes up. I still haven't heard from my buddy with my oil pan, so I will have to give him a call today to meet up.

I'm still screwed on the coolant lines, the "T" fittings that I bought are huge and ugly lol, so I'm trying to figure out something else to bolt up the cooliant lines to.

Well, I didn't mess with the car that much since i was working around the house taking care of thing. So here is the status.

3 setps foward and 19 steps back... :banghead:

Well like I said before the turbo manifold was 99% mounted, but there was one bolt that wouldn't feed in. Well I tried again and the bolt was very hard to bolt, in. What I feared next is that the thread was damaged some how. Well, long story short I unbolted the manifold again and tore apart the adapter plate.... And what did I find.... a F*ck#D thead :cussing:

So now i have find a kit to fix the thread, well I hope that I can fix it, if not, then i'm in a world of hurt.

Tomorrow I'm dropping off the adapter plate to a buddy of mine that is going to re-tap the bolt and the thread for me. I should be picking up my oil pan this week and I've decided to cap the cooliant lines for the time being (keeping the OEM lines on, for the future work) Since the car isn't getting driven all the time the use of the cooliant lines isn't really necessary. I should also have the gas tank up and mounted this week or weekend ( before sunday - I'm heading to Wyoming for a week for work) So I should have it bolted up for the time being lol

i used a jack and some 4x4 peaces of wood to do mine.... i did mine on my own, but it also depends on how far your car is in the air... i had mine up on four ramps.. so i had alot of room to get under it

Yeah I used bricks to lower the tank, its just a b**ch thats all. I have the car on 4 stands as we speak, but won't be able to use the jack ( due to the rear bumper is still on..) I might have 1 foot or so of clearance. not a lot of space. need glasswars lift in my garage.. ( don't have enough height to do that.

Well, last night I worked on the car, and I was able to put in the gas tank with a little struggle, but its in.

I made up my -6AN push-loc return line, and might I say that it a PITA to assemble. MIght be the last time I use push loc fittings.. lol. Once I got them finished I tried to hook it up and I couldn't line up the connection.. WTF!!! Now, I have to lower the tank to attach the fitting and use a hammer to beat a dent on the frame to give a little clearance so it doesn't rub. I'm so pissed..

Today I drop off the adapter plate to my buddy and see if he has my oil pan done. Still need to pick up a new gasket for the oil pan, and vaccume caps to block off the cooliant lines for the time being.

Got back in town late last night, and my buddy has my finished pan. I now need to get it from him this week, before I leave for the weekend again.. LOL

Before I left I got the fuel line ran to the engine bay.

From the return line fitting....

Well not too much progress lately, been really too busy again, and now i'm heading back to school during the night time so I can get my Masters degree. I still haven't picked up my oil pan yet.... but should be meeting up with my buddy here in a week.

LOL I almost want to drag the car somewhere and have someone finish it for me!!!! Any takers???? LOL

Temps are cooling off here again so now its not a complete sweat box in the garage. Once I get back from Wisconsin this weekend I'm going to get the adapter back on the car and remount the turbo I hope for the last time.

I just need to get this thing running again...
