I will keep that in mind... Seriously.
Dude selling his Stage 3 turbo and exhaust mani for $950....
What supporting mods would I need for either or?

I dont know for sure, but I'll throw in my 0.02 cents on this one,
Fuel for sure.. Not sure about the other one, but S3 needs a different o2 housing since the stock one won't bolt up. Mopar supplies one with the stage 3, but has an inlet of 2.75'', and the outlet of the mani is I think 3.75'', so its quite restrictive. Maxfabb makes an o2 housing with a 3.75'' inlet that bottle necks to 3'' to mate with a 3'' exhaust.
You might need a map clamp, since stage 3 will boost quite a bit more aswell if your not using the s3 ecu, since stage 3 has a new ecu and map/tip sensors.
Stage 2/3 injectors from mopar are 683cc I think, and also comes with a new fuel pump and a fuel return system.. You might get away with not having the return, but don't quote me on that.
Thats a fantastic deal on the s3 turbo/mani.
I don't follow to many progress logs, but you have my full interest in this! I have a bunch of srt parts lying around that I might be able to help you with if you ever need anything.
I don't know how much it matters to you but last summer my best tank of gas was 270 KMs and that is only boosting once in a while at a mixture of city and highway. But I did take a road trip with it and kept it about 65 mph, and got about 34 mpg.

I wouldn't get a Hanh 20G just because of that fail 2 1/2 o2 housing...what is up with that? Over a grand and you can't get a $50 3" !?

Well the Stage 3 he is selling has a AGP Stage 3 WGA on it too.
I know I would need bigger injectors of course. A local is making fuel pump rewire kits for dirt cheap so I will have that done.
Bigger fuel pump like the Walboro 255.
Instead of a map clamp couldn't I re-route the vacuum lines and have the AGP WGA control it?
Wouldn't a tuner like the Diablosport work better than say a map clamp?
I wouldn't have to get an aftermarket BOV setup which is nice.
Would I really need the Stage 3 map/tip sensors with the Diablosport?
On another note, my car is going in to have the waterpump, tensioner, and timing belt changed. Using only Mopar parts. This Tuesday. Get 25% off of labor.
I have a 3".
you ahve the MPX 3'' 02 housing correct? Will that bolt onto the bottom of the Hahn kit? I thought that was for stock turbo only?

It better bolt on. That's the reason I got it. I also got the 3" MPx exhaust.

I would look into it man... I am not sure that will bolt up to the bottom of the Hahn kit, cause doesn't the Hahn kit come with an 02 housing to use?
Just ordered an AEM wideband!
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/AEM-GAUG ... 240%3A1308
Can't beat $205 shipped for a wideband!
Had $118 from live cashback so it cost me $80 something dollahssss.

For the S3 to run right you would need:
3" Intake
3" Exhaust system
3.5" S3 O2 Housing
Fuel rail
Return Line
625cc (if you dont want to go far) Injectors
Ideally 725cc or better so your injector duty cycle is lower
Fuel pump, pump rewire, bottleneck fix
Hardpipes and BOV
I recommend a Charge pipe
Plugs/wires
IC Sprayer, not needed, but better
Diablosport, SCT or SAFC II
3-Bar Map/TIP sensors
I may have forgotten a thing or two...but look at my setup, I'm preparing for it and its not cheap at all. This list doesn't include the little things. All in all you'll spend 4-5k including the turbo just getting everything it needs.

Why hardpipes and plugs/wires?
While they are on my list of things to get, I've been running the mopar bov, factory plugs and wires, and factory IC piping and the car has been boost leak free since 2003.
-I'm not contradicting what you said, just curious since I'm always learning!

Running higher boost levels and an S3 setup the stock surge valve diaphragm cracks and tears and the Mopar BOV leaks. You get better response from plug wires with less resistance, and better response from plugs with a better spark than the stock champions. Closer gaps help with higher boost levels as well. I'm gapped at .032 and high boost on my Greddy is much smoother for me than factory plugs (which my car HATES) at .052
I say they are necessary

What plugs do you run?

I'd get 2 step colder plugs and some meth...for sure

Well I am hunting a Stage 3 fold and have been talking to the guy. 4k miles on it, includes AGP Stage 3 WGA and the S3 02 housing for $950. Might give me a deal for the S3 fuel rail taht he still has and the injectors...
You can still use the surge valve location on the S3.
I have the CTI chargepipe... Not sure if its the same diameter as the bottom of the stock turbo?
I don't hear any real benefits with an intercooler sprayer... Meth/Alky/Water injection nets better results. Its debateable. I have the AGP DFIC waiting to go on.
NGK V-Powers or "Hemi " style champions.
I won't be anywhere close to $4k to $5k. Used parts FTW.

I would say that is what you need if you want it to run like it should.

Yes you can still use the surge valve but its not recommended. I forgot you had the CTI charge pipe, yes the outlet is the same for both stock and stage 3 turbos. You'd only need to change it if you went with a different companies turbo.
NGK VPower is what I run, my car hates Champions and Iridiums.
You can use his rail and injectors but you would still need something to tune them with as you don't have the stage 3 computer. You'd also need a fuel pump unless you already have one. So a Predator, DTEC or SAFC is in order. Sprayers keep air temps down and do in fact increase horsepower when using something other than lukewarm water thats been rotting in the washer fluid tank lol.
And with the 3-bar Map, you'd need to program your PCM to accept it. Since its not an S2 or S3 PCM.

Yes where have you been!?
I think I might do it! The dude selling the Stage 3 turbo fold was parting it out and just going to sell the Stage 3 PCM to someone but now...
He sent me this PM:
Turbo, mani, injectors, fuel rail, sprayers, pump and harness you need the pcm to? If so the stg3 pcm with it will be an extra 150.00 lmk what you think.
So $2200 for all that. Asking him about the Map/Tip sensors... if that is included.

If he doesn't have the map/tip sensors, I think I got you covered!

......
.....
.....
there was a new forsale ad on SRTforums for a COMPLETE Stage 3 kit with tial wheel and toys for only $2300 OBO.
Pm'd him right away. I asked him if he could get more picts of the turbine wheel. He said he would take it off and snap some picts...
Well he sent me a PM shortly after and told me to call him. so I did so and he told me the bad news.... When he was taking it apart the housing hit two of the blades and chipped them... He said he felt like throwing up. I feel really bad for him. I know Forward Motion does a new upgraded wheel for $595 for the S3's.. Of course the kit will be cheaper. I know I can score a S3 turbo if needed and I can buy everything else.
I am pissed off myself...
Heres the thread:

Its all good now.
http://www.blouchturbo.com/ Supposedly will rebuild it for $265 plus $60 labor. going to confirm that by calling them up
The tial wheel would be replaced with an inconel wheel. Both wheels are oem mitsu wheels, and both were available in s3 from mopar. Neither wheel dyno's higher than the other, although spool time is increased 100-200rpm with the inconel wheel.
If the inconel would have been available when I bought my kit I would have went that route. The tial wheels are notoriously fragile and can errode, hence the requested turbine wheel shot. The tials are great wheels, but i don't think it is worth the trade-off.
Also, you should look around the forums, I think you'll find the general consensus is the inconel wheel is on par with the tial.
Inconel wheel > Tial wheel BTW.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inconel
Also called up stephanie at flight systems. Will only cost me $50 to flash the Stage 3 PCM to my 04. (He had an 05)
The thing that is so good about the Stage 3 kit w/ toys is that its a complete plug and play kit. No tuning at all. PCM controlled. My friend and I will be taking a roadtrip up there to pick it up! 650 miles each way! Get to check out Chicago.
Everything seems to be going good...
