Just kidding.
When I read the title "Whats that noise" I thought you had broke something in the engine bay and it's making noises. lol
But honestly, nice work man. I give you 2 thumbs up, or 5 stars. You choose. lol

I'm glad that the title caught someone then

Thank you for the props.

But *I* would have taken it one step farther and eliminated the upper torque strut and it's attaching. Then It's be suoer clean.
You, sir, need to stay the hell out of my head!

Believe it or not, there is a plan to do just that. I won't happen any time soon however. But as long as I have this car, I am working towards that goal
Now the update. I have been doing some more work to the car to make it street legal. Surprisingly, there are only two issues that had to be addressed.
1) If the car has a power steering rack in it, the power steering has to work

(There is a really good reason for this which I will explain later)
2) The air bag light doesn't come on during the cluster start-up check. Oops.
So, the air bag issue is easy. The power steering...well. Remember, one of the reasons I got rid of it was to un-clutter the passenger side of the engine bay. So the question became "How do I make the power steering work but still keep the lines away from my exposed timing belt?!?!" The answer? The trusty SRT.
And on that note I am going back to work on it. More info in a little while
