Sweet man! I'll be the first to ask (here anyway)...you going to be done in time for Carlise?
Good luck with the build

If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...

yes, it will be done long before Carlisle. i'm starting the night of March 7th and will be done March 16th... or sooner. I will be hitting the dyno April 5th or 12th.
and thanks... i'll need a lot of luck. hopefully Jeff B. (Booger Bushings) will be stopping by and giving me some input.

make sure you post up some pic's once you get that rad hose installed.. i'm curious to see how it fits, since all of the aftermarket hoses (gates, Samco, OBX) seem to be a different shape then the stocker..

well i know that the Samco's are designed for the SRT, but it's not that much different
EDIT: i went out and sized them up again this morning. the bottom is identical, the hose that goes to the bottle will fit, and the top hose should only need to get a slight twist put to the end that's angled off to the left so that it's no longer to the left

stopped by NAPA today. got me some parts. Alt. belt, water pump, t-stat, pan gasket, head bolts. the mag. head gasket set is on it's way and the P/S and A/C belt is on it's way too. i can't stand dayco belts so i got the "NAPA" ones. made by gates. also coming is a timing belt with Aramid/Nylon teeth.
sorry for the crappy pic, cell phone pic

the intakes match right up, so for now i'm gonna stick with stock. i'm thinkin about an AMM intake when i get more money again though.

no, just the mag cam. i have a crane 12 sitting here too. but a crane 12 and mag cam are almost identical
