Crappy camera and my hasty photo skilz

The output is quite good. I'll get some better pics when I'm not trying to rush next time
Sabersoul: You have confirmed my suspicions. Thanks
And thanks for the wheel props. While I would love to be in the position to lay out
$1100.00 per wheel (WTF??) I have found others that fit the bill nicely. Granted they are Chinese made copies, but most 2nd line wheels these days seem to be.

The light output looks like it is showing red light. But I'm sure it isn't lol.
I really like how the projectors look on the caliber. Black housing on the black caliber makes it look nice.

Not a problem.

Cornering in the SE was not as fun as it is in my Neon. Between the soft suspension, high ride height and 15" steelies with crappy Dunlop tires I couldn't corner like I can with the Neon and I've got the stock suspension with 15" 7-spokes.
Lowering springs, sway bars and at least 17's or 18's would help tremendously.
But the ride quality was great on the road, so long as you didn't need to turn a corner.

The Caliber is starting to grow on me...

Thanks! It's funny, the car really isn't to bad to look at with the right mods. Every time I see a stock Caliber I think "That's what this car used to look like. Ugg."

The projectors do set it off nicely.
And yes, I am going to make sure the Caliber makes it to Carlisle

Thanks Jeff!
And yes Ryan, it was your idea *presents credit were credit is due*
And the best part about the projectors? $100.00

Looks really good, now it needs tint to complete the blacked out look!

You are quite right about the tint. These cars come with almost no tint from the factory

by hansken_yo
tint is overrated and usually attracts more trouble than its worth....
Looking better, but I know what you mean by looking at stocks ones... fUGHly.....

I agree with you about dark tint, but when I say there is almost no tint on the windows, I mean it. The Neon has darker windows stock.
The tint will be within legal limits...no 5% here

So what is required to used an SRT front cover?
I saw a thread about it on CaliberForumZ but they made it seem like a royal PITA.

Not all that much really. The panel that ties the upper part of the cover to the core support needs to be changed, which means you have to change the hood support rod as well. I also recomend the proper hood latch, but it can be modified to work. The stock Caliber fog lamps will work, but the SRT uses larger lamps (you can tell my fogs are a bit recessed). I was able to reuse just about everything else.
Of course there is the fact that you need a SRT hood as well

While 5% would be nice, I don't want to deal with the hassle of VA cops.
You bring up a interesting point Nick. This color black wasn't offered on the SRT. Her car is X8 black (same color the Neon used), but the SRT uses a black with metallic in it. So it makes this clone even more unique

I hear VA Police are one of the worst in the States. This Caliber is very nice compared to, well, any and all that I see that are not CSRT-4's. Creative, and nice work! The headlights are very eye catching to me.

The VA state cops are very strict for the most part. In my area there are 2 different local police forces to contend with a very large colection of errmm...loud and obnoxious cars and questionable people that drive them. Local cops tend to crack down on anything that catches their eyes or ears.
Thanks for the complements. All of you are making my wife very proud of her car
