This car is completely different with this suspension upgrades. I don't even mind driving it now
I got so used to the Neon, that I knew getting into the Caliber was going to be a much less rewarding experience driving-wise. Not so now!
Once I fill the mounts with urethane and get the swaybar kit in there, along with some real tires, she should be a beast

It's too bad you can't rent 5sp cars any more. I remember renting 5sp shadows and taking them to Summit Point WV for the day.
If I still had a beater manual around, you would be set

Haha, how about your neon!

it's not a beater but maybe you're ok with teaching me? lol

Once you drive a MTX you'll never want a ATX again. You would be amazed at the, "I'm one with the car", feeling that you get. MTX FTMFW.

Very true David! As crazy as it sounds, I would be more likely to train you on my Neon Kelevra. I may even have my clutch installed by then

I wont burn out the cltuch. I KNOW how to, just never done it before. catch my drift?

I understand you. But you will do some clutch wear to start. Knowing the idea, and actually do it are very different things
I still remember when I learned. I knew how to do, but I just hadn't tried it. After 15 mins in the parking lot with a brand new (at that time) '88 Horizon, I was set! And the car wasn't any worse for wear

Well, it's not a hood, but Shyla got a new goodie...
SRT pedal set. Much better than the plain rubber pads that came stock, especially the gas pedal which is just...well, plain.
I love the SRT pedals in my Neon, and the wife really wanted a set for hers. They recently became available for the manual trans, so now she is much happier. And as the married folks can attest, a happy spouse is a happy marriage

Thanks! The pedals really are nice. My wife was jealous of mine, so when these came available we had to get them
I gotta tell ya, I am so tired of people telling me my hood is up

One guy flagged me down in the other lane to tell me that. I liked the fact that he was looking out for us, but he had a hard time understanding that, no, the hood is just too short
