Nice. How long is this course that you are on top of 2nd/in 3rd or is the MS3 geared different than I would be used to?

The course is usually over a mile long. this time it was just short of a mile at 4990feet.
at the top of 2nd I'm at 57-60mph.

More course than we run sounds like fun. I would hate that gearing there but love it up here.

I believe if the course was tighter or more open I wouldnt of had the issues I had. The course simply didn't agree with my Getrag 6Speeds gearing.
The Speeds on the longer course are fun though. Nothing Like trail braking a car going into a corner going 70+

I haven't been online much, my grandmother went back into the hospital. He cancer has gotten to a point where they told her there isn't anything they can do for her. Shes at home under hospice care. Shes only 69 years old. Waay too young IMO. My mom said something along the lines of only have about a month to live. Its really depressing.
I've also been fighting with my girlfriend, Been looking at apartments lately because I do not see us staying together and I do not want to stay at my condo. So much crap.. eh!

Keep your head up...
My prayers for you and your family.
If you need anything.... don't be afraid to ask myself... or anyone of the 2GN family... I can't do a lot from here but I'll try

Haven't had an update in awhile..
I missed the last autocross even due to work, and I'll probably miss this weekends autocross event because of the black friday weekend hoopla.
I did get a nice set of 12" Magnetic Autocross numbers though
and I put the 10,000th mile on my car on my way to work the other day
funny thing is if you look at the Trip mileage, its my Autocross number. kinda weird IMO
I'd probably have more updates if it wasn't for alot of stuff going on in my personal life. My grandmother passed away this morning, my girlfriend and I are fighting like crazy, [edited]I'm just all around heart broken.

What do you mean by: "The leader ran a 77.2, but he his car blew up the run" ?

moxhair wrote: The leader ran a 77.2, but he his car blew up the run before his best time and he ran the 77.2 in an S2000 which is in a higher class.
meaning, he blew his car up in a previous run and his best time was ran in a car that doesn't belong in the class I run in.

Ahhhhh, yeah, that doesnt seem right then. If your car blows up, you are out.

well you can use another car so you don't waste your money, but when you change cars and the new car is in a higher class you are suppose to tell an official so they can change your classification. He did not do this and a Street Prepped S2000 definitely does not belong in the same class as Street prepped MS3s, WRXs, and etc. Me finishing only 0.113 behind him is amazing, but I should of won the class.

lol, dunno about being a "god."
If I wouldn't of clipped that cone gate in the final 50yards of my 3rd run I would of been in the 76.8 range and been faster than him by almost a half second.
During my 4th run my front stretch split time was another second faster than my split from the 76.8 run, but in the same spot I clipped the cone, I took too much speed and slid sideways into the cone and eventually all the way around. First time I've spun the MS3. Ran an 81.1. lol Only thing I could think of in the glory of tire smoke was "fuck! there goes the bragging rights.."
I'd have more pictures, but They all came out kinda blurry.
One of the old guys after my last run walked up to me, when I had the hood up and the engine still on, and asked me if my car was FWD or AWD. Then he went on to say that he was thoroughly impressed with the car and myself and that he thought that if I hadn't spun on the final run I would of easily gotten in the 74 range. I had just gotten done taking my frustration out, from spinning, on my Helmet, and this conversation made me feel a bit better.
