I'm getting bits and pieces... and it's more disturbing than anything I've heard lately. What a nightmare.

The fact that people aren't dying right now shows that he is in as good of spirits as he can be, I think.

Good to know sullivan, thanks. I'll give him a call Monday.

Well, today the 30th I go over there at 5:30 to pick the car up. We shoot the shit for awhile, I finally take my keys and go to leave. Him and his mechanic are encoring me to light my tires up, even though clutches generally need a 500 mile break in period. They've also made numerous comments on how my car is "awfully quick" when they test drove it.

So, I leave. My girlfriend is in her car about to pull out. Apparently, when I left his wife screamed out the door saying "And stay gone!!!!" or something among those lines. She then gets lippy with my girlfriend. (great way to represent the business, huh?) Well, she pulls out but at this point I've noticed my steering wheel is STILL 90* off.

I drive back. I tell them what the issue is, and his mechanic tells me to pull it around and he'll reset the wheel again. On my way back to the car, Jeremy's dog bites my arm. He doesn't even seem to care, and yes the dog broke skin. I have pictures to prove it and it's bruising up as I type this.

His mechanic resets the wheel, it's finally good, and we take off for the last time. I get my car home, notice loud thunks when i go over bumps in the road, coming from my front suspension. I get home and pop the hood planning to put the computer in the right way because it's rubbing the CAI and they didn't care to fix it.

I then notice in horror the condition of my engine bay. Wires are improperly ran, mounts are broken on several parts of the car, the covers for each computer plug are busted off. I now notice why they put the computer in backwards… they ran my wires under the fuse box instead of the right way.

At this time, my girlfriend is noticing the dents and scratches on my drivers side door. One penny sized dent, 4 scratches… all that were NOT there when I took the car there, and yes, I have photographic proof. They're all extremely noticeable as well. I look at my rims, the powder coat has been chipped off in several spots. The entire outside of my car is covered in grease, as is my interior. They didn't bother to detail anything at all.

I call Jeremy up at this point absolutely furious. He does not apologize, he doesn't seem to care at all actually. He even hangs up on me once. I call him back again, state I'm taking my car to the dealership tomorrow so they can inspect and repair everything that he broke on the car. I then say, I want him to pay the bill. He refuses, I hang up stating I'm getting a lawyer.

Tomorrow my car goes to a dealership to have a full inspection done. Monday I'm getting a lawyer and I will see him in court.

TL;DR version
I take my car to go get fixed at Jeremyintoledos shop. They break more things than they fix. It takes a month and a half to get my car back. Numerous things on my car still need repaired, his dog bite me, he doesn't seem to care about anything, refuses to pay for a real shop to fix his mistakes, and I'm getting a lawyer.

The whole story of this nightmare is posted up on Toledo Tuners Here. It's a long read, but tells everything as honestly as I can make it.

Call Animal Control, his dog will get put down. It's unacceptable for an animal to bite a human if it isn't provoked.

I'm going to the hospital tomorrow to be checked out for possible rabies. I have his name and address, I will let the hospital deal with it.

I was trying to stay logged out but this is a serious issue.

Opi, there is no "test" for rabies. The only way to test for rabies is if they test the animal's brain that bit you for it. I went through this a few months ago when a stray cat that found it's way into my house bit the shit out of my hand.

The car, you know a lawyer and all can deal with that, but the animal, call animal control now. Tell them you fear the dog may be rabid, they'll take the dog.

This sucks man, shit just does not go right some times for us.

awww you can back just for me <3

i'm still debating on what to do about his dog biting my arm. it tore skin, it's bruised, but my girlfriend doesn't want anything bad to happen to the dog. (she's quite the animal lover)

normally, i probably wouldn't think twice about it. but with how shady this guy is, i'm not too sure what to do.

WTF.....I feel your pain. Best of luck at the dealership and the hospital. Care to post pictures of any of it? I'm interested in wtf they did to the computer and how they broke the mounts.

I'm sure it's safe to say your clutch isn't properly broken in either.

Call animal control.....get checked out. Have no remorse. I mean the dog bit you...what's it going to do to other customers? What if they have a child that comes to the shop?

Whatever you do, don't do it out of spite. If you call animal control, make sure it's because you feel it's a threat, or because the dog bit you, not because this guy sounds like a dickbag.

Pictures will be up tomorrow before it goes to the dealer to be looked into.

And the funny thing is, he has several dogs chained up outside. That's the only one I ever avoid, because it tends to run towards people. I was actually telling him this when we were just shooting the shit. He tells me how it's actually the biggest baby he owns, so on my way back I don't avoid him.... and the fucker bites me.

So, i feared him, was told to ignore those fears, and was bitten anyways. He just sort laughed and said it "must be my piercings."

Yea, I wouldn't stress the dog...

As fucked up as it is... it's not the dog, it's the owner.

I can honestly say that I am not surprised in the least about the car. It's a damn shame that you wanted to do it right the first time and pay someone and it back fires on you.

Please tell me you posted on the toledo forum about it... if so link please? :)

I really hope a lawyer helps you out and you get what you deserve. Your car in tip top shape and 100% again.

I'm sorry you're going through this shit Josh. :(

+1 good idea on letting the lawyer do it all.. that's it job. I have a feeling you'd lose your cool if you had to talk to him, I know I would.

I wont be responding in that thread at all. You guys have questions, ask me here, but try not to start shit over there. It'll just get locked then.

and i more than likely will just mention the dog to my lawyer, but wont do anything now. an animal doesn't deserve to get punished. the dog wasn't attacking me, but trying to play i think... and it was a big fucking dog

 Wow, Josh. Wow. Now I can definately see why you'd be furious about this. Crazy stuff. Sorry to say, but even if your girlfriend is an animal lover, the dog should be put down. As Sean said though, dont do it because the guy is an ass. Take him to court and rape his ass dry. Someone running a 'business' should know that all of this is shady, stupid, and just plain not right. Good luck with however you go about it, Josh. I hope everything works out.

I will say ford's are by far the easiest thing to do trans work on I had the Tbird's out first time in about an hour, as a side note a T5 is much heavier than a neon trans and should not be caught with your chest.

A friend wanted me to look over his cobalt for a few things and I dont see exactly how this clutch job is/was hard. Im sorry for everything that happened to your car dont let this give you the wrong idea about small shops some of us actually know what we are doing.
