Then I am successful!
If I could find the time to redrill-n-fill those TSW's, I'd buy them off of you in a second, Nate.
Haha thanks bro. That'd be pretty cool.

You and me both. Called the guy yesterday and he said they should be done by early next week. So I'm figuring on sometime late January ... lol. We'll see.
The white should match near perfect if not perfectly. I made it a point to paint something with the Mopar Stone White and bring that with me when they guy and I picked out the correct color. Hopefully I got close.

Haha I'm glad you found the humor in that =p Yes ma'am the battery is in (thanks for the recommendation) and hooked up to the tender. The light is green and she's sitting dormant, ready to shred the new tires off . . . (once I get them and my rims -.- )

Still waiting on the photo proof. Kudos for going with a Stone White match thou. At least I don't have to slap you for that

If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...

No not yet. I'm debating whether to shell out the cash for those now, or just wait until I take the car to DCR and do everything in one big bang.

Might be better off having DCR do it all for you at the same time. Then you don't have to tear it down twice. Plus if they're building it they can give you better recommendations of what cams to use with their setup. I'm hooking mine up to the tender on Sunday.

Exactly. Less time under the knife is better. When do you plan on bringing him back out? I'm already anxiously awaiting the first day of spring lol.

Honestly? Probably not until April. Our snow season is November 15th to April 15th here, so I kinda stick by that when it comes to leaving the snow tires on. He'll sleep for awhile

Thanks man that makes two of us. This dude is taking FOREVER lol. Thank god she's garaged and I don't really care. Normally I'd be livid. It's taking him longer to do my rims than it took to paint the entire car, and even THAT took too long.
LSP I know how you feel. At least we're lucky to have other neons to race around in for fun in the meantime. I don't know about you but I drive my SRT like a grandma, and my 1gn like I stole it.

A guy in Pasadena has been waiting 6 months for them to finish his automatic trans for his SRT. SGT BRAD got fucked over by DCR, how do you fail to realize your NOT putting in domed pistons?
I'd be scared to have them work on my car.

Yea, I guess you run that risk no matter where you take your car if you're not doing the work yourself. I tend to check in, a LOT. We'll see. I know when I drop it there, it'll be gone for a while.

OOOO I wanna see these wheels.
Also, did you say you're entire car was repainted?? That would explain why it's so damn spotless!

I definitely drive Lucius like a grandma, and Nee a bit faster. My boyfriend Chris had said that to me after I got it, he goes "you drive the fast car slow, and the slow car fast...

. It's all thanks to him that Lucius can sleep this winter.

But just having another Neon rocks, I love the little things.

I know this is going to sound insane but call Howell for the love of all that is holy call me, your mother, your dog, your inner child anybody who isnt DCR if you want it done correctly, at anything quicker than a snail's pace, and, at a reasonable cost. Any decent machine shop should be able to put your engine together along with the machine work. Talk to your local straight line/circle track racers to find the best engine shop in your area. Get pizza and beer and make a great 2gn tech day out of pulling your engine

Car's just sitting in the garage right now. I'm not taking it out until I get those damned rims back and get new tires on them. But yea I shifted while it was sitting there and it's going to be sweet at the track
