Ryan, that WGA is an S3 style actuator. S3 WGA arms are bent, stock turbo WGA arms are straight.
As for the fuel level: it could be the canister is clocked wrong, the float arm/sensor could be bent, or the sensor may just be worn out. You could attempt to rotate the canister and see if the level changes. That would also let you know if the sensor/arm is fubard. There also was a post over on SRTforums that said using some Techron Fuel Additive may help clean the sensor. Worked for one guy, might be worth a shot.

On S3? I'm surprised, you might be one of the only ones to get away with it. It almost always blows a map/tip correlation code. You can run it on an S1 computer without issues though.MyNeonSaysHi wrote:I ran my car without the redline hooked up for over a year on PCM controlled boost with no issues.
Mopar stage 2 WGAs are bent also.[/quote]JeffM wrote:Ryan, that WGA is an S3 style actuator. S3 WGA arms are bent, stock turbo WGA arms are straight.

Ok, so yellow car...
I took the brass plug out of the hardpipe, tapped the hole to fit a brass fitting and ran a vac line to the solenoid to replicate the red line. When I started the car up I was greeted by a long crank time, car is running very rich, and above ~2000 RPMs it sounds like I have a 2 step like it's cutting fuel... I have to assume the car is in limp mode? I got a CEL for p0123 for the TPS sensor now in addition to the TIP code which didn't go away. I don't see the wiring being broken, but it's possible I broke it somewhere when wrestling the pressed in IAT sensor out of the hardpipe. I order a TPS and IAC rewire kit so I'll redo the connectors when they come in and see if that solves the problem. I also ordered an o2 sensor to replace the missing downstream o2 to fix the p0038 I'm throwing. This car is a hot mess right now.
Here is the short-list for the car:
*solid motor mounts... sell Deyeme filled mounts
*new LCA bushings
*install catch can
*black/yellow SRT nostril badge
*AC recharge
*new serpentine belt
*install Alpine HU/buy fit kit/wiring harness
*install downstream o2 sensor
*rewire TPS
*rewire IAC
*fix TIP p1105 issue
*clean up vac lines
*clean up HID hack wiring
*unroll lip
*fix pass side seat recliner
*patch small hole in firewall
*re-tap headlight bolt holes/new headlight bolts/install lights/buy 1/8" sharp drill bits

Rewire kit should be here for both connectors today... i hope. I've verified this is problem by jiggling the wires then starting the car. No long crank time, 14.6 a/f... so rewire should solve that issue anyway. FYI - mopar sells repair kits for ALL connectors, not just the ones we have issues with. Didn't know that... my dad who is a Chrysler tech told me. It's good to know.

I haven't updated this in a longggggg time, but I also haven't done a ton with this car either besides looking at it sitting in the garage and driving it once or twice. I added an MPx billet oil cap over the winter I have several more projects in the works for this but have been super busy working on my other car projects, other peoples car projects, and house projects... well I just rolled my rear quarter panels and put some 25mm spacers on to bring the wheels out more flush with the quarter essentially putting them at offset of +10 with a width of 7.5". I also tossed the 3mm spacers on the front that I had on the SRT for the 15"s to clear the brakes for the winter, pushing these out to a +32
Just got a painted front fog bumper for the OB daily. Color isn't perfect match, fitment isn't perfect, but for the price of $250 getting a new bumper painted to match a car hundreds of miles away and shipped to me in 2 weeks it's close enough and it has fogs now and isn't goiged to shit. The original one didn't match very well either actually... I hit the honeycomb with trim black paint while I was at it too. I don't have any pics since my iPhone bricked itself on Monday and I lost all my pics... but I bought a mint set of Vipers which I traded for a mint set of SRT fatboys which are now in the OB.

The yellow car has been filthy so I decided to give it a bath saturday night. it's actually yellow under all the dirt and soot!
So yesterday I decided to pull the silver car out and give it a bath. I get it all cleaned up, dry it and decide to take it for a spin around the block to get all the water out of the wheels and whatever crevices it's hidden in. I get about 2 streets away and it feels like the clutch is slipping in first gear... brand new ACT street disk. I have a super short maddog so I put it into neutral and back into 1st thinking maybe it wasn't in all the way and keep driving. I speed up a little and it's running like shit. I look down and the CEL is on... Never heard it chime because I was listening to music. I realize the car just isn't revving over like 2200 RPM... ok, limp mode, so why? I limp it home and pull the codes. P0340. CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR... that explains the limping. $57 later and I had my dad get me a new CPS and magnet today. Thank god for stupid problems. Apparently she's mad at me

I was waiting for Sean to chime in too because I figured out he was subscribed because every time I post an update he's usually the first to respond

That made my day it makes it all worth while when the hard work and detail i've tried to put into my cars is noticed and appreciated. Like most i've never had a bunch of money, but i think i've had a decent goal and i'm willing to try anything. If i fail, so be it. At least i can say i gave it my all.Norse wrote:Excellent work, Dude. Just Excellent.
Just went over the log (all 67 pages worth)! I must say, I admire the attention to detail and patience you've shown with this car! Just awesome, Dude!

I know the feeling- same thing happened to me after driving back from chipdogg's last Fall. Out of the blue, just like your situation. Lots of good stuff in your thread, very interesting.sidepipe87 wrote:P0340. CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR... that explains the limping. $57 later and I had my dad get me a new CPS and magnet today.
