I see the pics now! Oh yes, I was so crazy about your putting the 300M mirrors on... The pic of you "hugging" your old car- see, you shouldn't have sold it! LOL

Congrats on buying the car back. It was one of the nicer ones from back in the day. Sometimes I wish I could get my old ACR back, but I'm sure it was wrapped around a pole at some point, given how terribly the new owner drove it.

Thanks guys. Yeah, I shouldn't have sold it lol. I was just at a point in life where it wasn't driven, I had no space for it and it was taking up space in my sisters garage and my dad was also not doing well and was having major spinal surgery done... I had a lot going on and was offered a lot of money for the car and decided to take it. My wife told me I shouldn't sell it but I was determined that I wouldn't regret it... turns out I was wrong lol.

See, this is why I'm so glad that I've hung on to the SRT. I will confess that, after the power steering went out during the 2019 Carlisle, I was mad at the car and thought about selling it (I had a potentially serious buyer make a tempting offer on that Sunday so it was good that the title was in a lockbox here in Indiana LOL) but I got over myself and now I'm glad that I got the notion out of my head.

But you had some really serious issues going on then so your circumstances were much more important than mine.

Yeah, you would definitely regret selling that car if you did. I've had mine since 2008. I assume you bought yours new in 05 correct?

I did buy it new but in 2006- the dealership in Iowa still had it on their lot and had advertised it on autotrader.com. I bought it sight unseen, drove a rental out to Iowa to pick it up and then drove the SRT back home.

That is awesome! You definitely can't get rid of it now.

I agree- I love this car so much! I go out to the garage a couple of times a day just to take a look at it- always makes me smile. :D

Nah, it has been built- I have the receipts (and the empty wallet) to prove it! LOL

Life's hectic as usual but I just decided to drop in and mention that I picked up one of the newly rereleased clear third brake lights for the neon from MPx. Not sure if I will end up running it or not but figured I may as well buy one since they area available again.

If you decide to install it, please post of pic of your car so we can see what it looks like. I like the photos that MPx has in that link.

I don't mean the cap that is 'hinged' in the door handle pull. I have that. I mean in the arm rest area on the door where you pull the door closed. That screw has a cap over it on both sides. Out of my 03, my sisters, and my bro's 05, none of them have it.
Thread resurrection! Does anyone have a part number for those caps?

I found the part number for the screw caps finally: 0LB57XDV

You would need 4 of them

I didn't install it but they just released a smoked version and I installed that last night. I'll try to get a picture of it.

Fantastic! Now to find them. I've added the part number you found to my search list at Carlisle. Thank you!
