I see the pics now! Oh yes, I was so crazy about your putting the 300M mirrors on... The pic of you "hugging" your old car- see, you shouldn't have sold it! LOL

Thanks guys. Yeah, I shouldn't have sold it lol. I was just at a point in life where it wasn't driven, I had no space for it and it was taking up space in my sisters garage and my dad was also not doing well and was having major spinal surgery done... I had a lot going on and was offered a lot of money for the car and decided to take it. My wife told me I shouldn't sell it but I was determined that I wouldn't regret it... turns out I was wrong lol.

Yeah, you would definitely regret selling that car if you did. I've had mine since 2008. I assume you bought yours new in 05 correct?Midnight_Rider wrote: ↑Thu Jul 15, 2021 9:39 pmSee, this is why I'm so glad that I've hung on to the SRT. I will confess that, after the power steering went out during the 2019 Carlisle, I was mad at the car and thought about selling it (I had a potentially serious buyer make a tempting offer on that Sunday so it was good that the title was in a lockbox here in Indiana LOL) but I got over myself and now I'm glad that I got the notion out of my head.
But you had some really serious issues going on then so your circumstances were much more important than mine.
I did buy it new but in 2006- the dealership in Iowa still had it on their lot and had advertised it on autotrader.com. I bought it sight unseen, drove a rental out to Iowa to pick it up and then drove the SRT back home.
That is awesome! You definitely can't get rid of it now.Midnight_Rider wrote: ↑Sun Jul 18, 2021 10:25 pmI did buy it new but in 2006- the dealership in Iowa still had it on their lot and had advertised it on autotrader.com. I agree- I love this car so much! I go out to the garage a couple of times a day just to take a look at it- always makes me smile.
Thread resurrection! Does anyone have a part number for those caps?sidepipe87 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 20, 2010 6:52 pmI don't mean the cap that is 'hinged' in the door handle pull. I have that. I mean in the arm rest area on the door where you pull the door closed. That screw has a cap over it on both sides. Out of my 03, my sisters, and my bro's 05, none of them have it.
I found the part number for the screw caps finally: 0LB57XDVMidnight_Rider wrote: ↑Fri Apr 22, 2022 12:14 amThread resurrection! I didn't install it but they just released a smoked version and I installed that last night. I'll try to get a picture of it.Midnight_Rider wrote: ↑Tue Nov 23, 2021 9:29 pmIf you decide to install it, please post of pic of your car so we can see what it looks like. I like the photos that MPx has in that link.
Fantastic! Now to find them. I've added the part number you found to my search list at Carlisle. Thank you!sidepipe87 wrote: ↑Sat Jul 09, 2022 12:47 pmI found the part number for the screw caps finally: 0LB57XDV
You would need 4 of them
