so iv been thinkin..... my over all goal for the rest of the year is to finish my interior... but i have 2 options...
option 1- save some money for new leather seats with white stitching and later srt rear seats....
option 2 - i bought some rear breaks for a girl last week and i need to get new rotors and pads....

option seats will take a while cuz the seats i want r 400 nd the rear seats if im lucky r 200, it will take a month to save that much but after that my interior will b complete.. over all goal for the year complete

option brakes are cheaper and its time for brakes its been since 06 since i changed them..i can get the parts a lot sooner nd i will add rear brakes and rear sway bar

hmm what to doo!!!

whatever you do, do like I told you LAST fall and don't try to use the knuckle on those. Unbolt the setup from it. Are you going to sandblast and paint that rusty shit?

I also care..
I used the knuckles when I bought both sets and never had an issue.. Just make sure nothing is warped and you'll be ok.. It makes it much easier to swap over instead of unbolt a crap load of stuff to just swap the back plates..

Now... get to work.. :whip:

I don't know of many, if anybody that has tried to remove the 2 long bolts through the control arms and not have them break off. Maybe it's different over there in Texas where you don't have rust, but for the rest of us it's a major PITA. It's much easier to just unbolt the stuff and use your knuckle that is already on the car. If you've had the control arms off before then maybe you won't break them, if you haven't I'd seriously re-think using the new knuckles and just go with the ones on your car. It's not really more times. Especially if you have to deal with broken control arm bolts. This is just my $0.02 from the 2 rear disk swaps I have done.

Judging from your pics above, unless you soak those parts in PB blaster or liquid wrench for a week, it's not going to be easy to remove the cut off control arm sections or tension rod

so I I understand this clearly.... Keep the knuckles I have on my car and just bolt the backing plate and hard ware to it? I take it will bolt up no problem?? If I do wat u say I should b ready for thr swap sooner then I thought...

Yep. Drum knuckles and Disc are no different. Just take the drum assembly off the knuckle and bolt the backing plate up.
