Don't liek the flat black look.
IS that CRX set up for drag? Looks like it by the front fender flare and wheel

Yeah, I realized as much, I just was curious if you were setting this up as a drag car. That along with the steelies in the back, and that weld style wheel in the front made it look that way

ah... epic fail on my part. I'd say stick with the red for sure.

Stick with the Rio Red, and honestly I'd paint the hood as well. You could have it painted to where the weave still shows through, and leave it unpainted on the bottom if you want to show that it's carbon fiber.
You plan on leaving the trim and lower cladding black? I remember you were one of the ones that didn't like the fact that my old '88 Si had everything painted.
P.S. Spoon mirrors!

Copper. I think that is a kick ass color.

Everyone knows that for breasts to be "perfect" they need to be within reach.

Body issues...
The hood closes and hits on both sides (fenders)
The headlights look to be tucked in... or maybe that's just me.
The passenger rear corner of the hood pops up (tried two different hoods) I'm guessing it's the hinge or something.
Then I noticed a weird weld in the engine bay... or looks to be weld... I don't recall my other CRXs having it.... it's obvious this car has been in a front end collision... being it's rio red with a white bumper/hood and mismatched fenders.
I'm tempted to just put it back together and sell it and find a better shell to work with
First pictures... front end with the bumper/headlights...

Weird weld or whatever

Hood "closed"

On a plus side... I got the tires mounted....

As for the headlights, mine sat similar to that, so that may not be that big of an issue. Mine had a clean history on it.
As for the rest of the front. I'd say for sure it's been in a hard front end collision. Looks like the front passenger frame horn has been replaced. You should be able to fix the hood fitment by adjusting the tops of the fenders out some, and replace the hinge.
As for finding a different shell, I'd think it over. How's the rest of your car? Any quarter rot? If the rest of it's in good shape, I'd say just fix the nasty looking repair job on the front corner and keep it. It may be easier than finding another clean shell for a good price and having to weld in quarters or whatever else.

looks alright, looks like it was spray painted though.. I liked the Rio Red better personally. Are you keeping it flat black? The wheels look good on there
