nice build up so far...props to you for picking up a honda! great cars to build.

you should get a LS motor :)

I have never seen a K in a DA, but Im sure someones done it somewhere lol. either way, K=lots of monies, no matter what its going in! haha.

are you a member on H-T now too?

oh yeah...I like the rota track Rs ALOT! I saw them on an ej8 civic coupe and w/out seeing the center caps, I actually thought they were Sprint Hart Competitions for a while until the guy told me otherwise.

my upcoming mods/things to do besides fixing my motor mount
install my VTEC subharness
either buy 1 new tokico illumnia or a front set of koni yellow
94-97 accord lip
94-97 accord rear lip
either 96-00 civic or 94-00 integra side skirts
jdm 1pc headlight
remove wing[still a maybe]
fix my exhaust so it tucks under the bumper
remove the pink from my taillights
make my bumper lights into turn on with headlights, but still blink with turn signals

hybrid-Srt2001 wrote:I kinda like the wing

Yeah don't know if I want to remove it for sure yet or not. It kind of gives it that look from back in the early 90s

I also missed out on the best deal this weekend a set of 15" racing sparco ns2 with the tires for $150. They usually cost around $500 too

Also debating on if I should paint my rims either white, bronze, or gunmetal or to just repolish them. Might buy some slips from my friend with tires but one is bent from when he crashed his car in the mountain for $200

slips would be a good deal even for 3, i also think bronze would look tight.

If you can grab the slips that cheap, then just pick up one new one. Personally I'd go gunmetal or polished.

Polished wheels, without a doubt. White would be my second choice against that dark blue and beige interior.

The car is looking great, keep it up.

opps...forgot to update this....heres a pic of my new strut brace...

dont mind the rust on the pass. strut tower....it comes from CA roads + blown tokico illumnia = upper control arm hitting it.
Image

and whats waiting to be installed....just have to find the time to take off my bumper and cut it to make sure the fogs fit.

Heres pics of a night shot..with both sets of fogs one. my yellow fogs have the glare guard removed so they are actually a little bit brighter than my headlights. i picked up a can of yellow stained glass spray for the bottom fogs.
Image

And heres a pic of my set of MSR's....New tires are in order and repainting them white and polishing the lip.
Image

and it looks like my engine has loads of engine sludge....whats the best way to flush it? I already run Castrol Syntec 10w-30....goin to upgrade to amsoil next oil change.

and it was worse on the cam covers...i just wiped it off before the pic.

wow, that's nasty. One of my bosses actually sells oil for castrol, so he knows his oil pretty well. We've talked about this before and he said that once there is sludge, it's hard to get rid of it without taking things apart and soaking them in cleaner or what not. Engine flushes can only do so much. It's all about prevention!!!

So my recomendation, start sourcing a spare motor and clean it up REAL good, and start with good oil from the start with a good changing interval. But I'm sure you knew that anyway.

I miss my honda now.... B18B1 ftw

Yeah thats what i thought....well on my next oil change im going to run some Gunk 5min engine flush to see if it does anything.

but my b16a > b18b1.....LOL :D
