Well the next purchase for the SRT4 will be some new tires. I'm gonna need four new ones. Im contemplating between BF Goodrich and Hankook for brands. Also my engine light came on yesterday (took it out on a warmer day), luckily I was right near dodge where my friend works so he hooked it up to the computer real quick. Luckily, it was only a false code from the downstream O2 sensor. been ok ever since, if it returns ill prob just have to replace that sensor. I still think the defrost leaves a lot to be desired. My ACR has needed to be jumped a few times this week. I gotta check the battery when i get a chance. I still got some kinks to work out ever since the engine was replaced. Hopefully i can make it to rhode island next month but if not ill def be good to go for carlisle. sorry it takes me so long to update this shizzz.

That sensor is the cheaper of the two and it will come back and need replacing I'm sure. It's cheap and easy to do :) I still say BFG and a Mopar battery :D

I wanna say they're around $80 since the Neon batteries are so small, I could look back through my records for Lucius to compare if you wanted me to. Just not sure how long it would take me to find it.

A Mopar battery is a good choice, but keep in mind that it is an Interstate. The Mopar battery is part #BB26R450AA (60 month) is $92.10 and the BB26R510AA (75 month) is $108.00 An Interstate battery part # MT-26R (75 month) will run you $94.95

Another option is Walmart. Their batteries are made by Johnson Controls (which owns Interstate) and a 26R should run a bit less.

And random whored pictures of Chtear along with the info. Back on topic I bought a battery from Autozone for Lucius for around $45 before, super tiny battery...it didn't last very long but I didn't have a bunch of cash at the time and needed it to run so I could get it out of the paint booth. Ever since I've bought Mopar batteries.

Great info dante. So basically Mopar/Wal-Mart and Interstate batteries are all the same minus the looks?

Seems to be. I don't know if Interstate does something "magical" to their batteries that the Walmart ones don't have, but I have seen the Walmart batteries hold up very well over their live span. Mopar batteries have been lasting as long as regular Interstate batteries ever since they switched suppliers from Exide some years back.

maybe...........i told crystal. depends on money, a girl situation ;), and some issues with the cars. SRT4 needs tires. The ACR prob needs a battery and some exhaust work done.

Having two cars is pricey, do that smoke test.

So today, I noticed two scratches on the hood of the SRT4. I went and spray washed it. They do not look very deep so hopefully they can be clay barred out or buffed out. *fingers crossed* My friend who works for dodge said he would do the smoke test on the ACR for free in off hours and also check my battery. He also said he'd have his detailer take a look at the scratches on the SRT4. I need to get my sunroof checked out to. grrr. winter sucks so bad. annoying.

They should just need a light wetsand and buff if they're as light as you describe them. :)

Save your pennies, bring the girl, and hope the roads are nice.

man scratches are never any good.

why don't you sell the ACR so you wont be dumping money into both of them and you can just focus on the SRT4.

He won't sell the ACR because he wants a daily to keep miles off of his SRT-4.

I'm not going to be driving Lucius as much in the nice weather now that I have Nee. However....Lucius is beyond daily driver status at this point with everything I've done to him. Hell he left daily driver status a long time ago and I STILL daily drove him. I'm insane though.....

So I need to replace the battery. It has "ok" output at best but is not recharging great and the alternator seems to be fine. Also my exhaust leak is coming from where the intake connects to the cat. So the gasket between the two just needs replacing. I also may buy 2 new tires for the SRT4 since I cant prob afford a whole set at once

go with an optima in the trunk, mine was installed numerous years ago and to this day it will still jump start a diesel let alone keep my R/T powered and last year at Carlisle it powered my wife's laptop with an inverter and still started Christine......this was a red top........
