So I still have to replace the battery on the ACR but as long as I start it everyday, its been ok. The SRT4 sunroof I think needs to be relubed and clips put back into the correct spots. I also think I found out my defrost problem. The HVAC inside/outside air clip is broke and stuck on the inside air causing poor defrost unless I crack a window. It also has a weird scent when first starting up the car . I also found a "hisss" noise coming from one of the tiny holes of the clip too. So it looks like I'm in the market for a new HVAC control panel.

The actual white control panel behind the HVAC? It's four screws and a few cables.

everything but the HVAC on the SRT4 is good to go. I gotta call a couple local junk yards. A couple people on here also are selling some as well. So hopefully it'll be fixed soon.

Why isn't the ACR in your sig anymore? You abandoned it.

Nick wanted it that way...

Made it a hell of a lot easier to make a sig too!

So I just called the local junkyard. They want around $50 after tax for the HVAC setup out of a 05 Neon. I'm like uhhhhhh a brand new one from dodge is only $62 (called yesterday) so yeah def not going the junkyard route.

Did you tell them that? Could've gotten them to barter down to at least $40. But then again, that's only $22 away from brand spanking new.

is the Hvac controls the same from the srt and the regular neon? most junkyards look it up as direct fit. so say you say it is a srt their computer says a srt only fits an srt and the neon only fits a neon. it does not say this part from the neon will fit that car. neons are a dime a dozen and srts are not as popular so used parts are $$.

all trims are the same 00-05 SRT4 and regular neons. Only difference would be the ones without the a/c option

At least it was the Camry and not one of the neons, since you have two pricey bumpers on those that aren't easy to find. Camry's are a dime a dozen.

So I got lucky today and found a HVAC in this very trashy junkyard for $10. They had no idea what the piece really was. I went out in the yard searched for a neon and took it out, gave them $10 and went on my way. I got it installed but forgot to put the metal clips back in at first. But all good to go now. But I shit you not, a minute after I get it all working and good to go. No more hiss noise and good hvac in, my Check Engine Light comes on. I'm pretty sure its just an O2 sensor because it was giving me fits a few weeks ago. I am def being welcomed into the world of a new problem or challenge with my vehicles every week.
