This past Saturday some people in the local area got together. We had around 20 vehicles and had a little cruise and stopped at various spots for some pictures. Right now there is a 17 min video of it all but its trying to be edited for Youtube. We had a good time and I shall post some pics and vids soon. SRT4 day at my local track is on May 29th so I'm trying to mod my car a little bit more before I go as well.

So a few updates......
1) I have been leaking oil somewhere near my catch can. So I finally took a closer look and come to find out. My Greddy Catch Can actually cracked on the back side toward the bottom. I may switch to a different brand. I'm using 9mm lines for it i believe
2) I'm closing in on 57,000 miles. I know its not much compared to some of u but it sucks how I only had 42,929 when I got it last July. I had to use it as a daily driver all the way until November when I got my ACR back. Its just sad cause I know I could be around 50K if i hadn't had to use it as a DD
3) I'm trying to pay bills off the best I can while still keeping plans on the SRT4 going. I got myself a pair of MM racing inserts to use while I debate on getting AGP dog bones later on. And also I'm either gonna put a Forward Motion Wastegate or a 3inch catless downpipe and 3inch O2 housing in. Not sure which I am going to do first.
4) SRT4 day at my local track is the 29th. I'm hoping to improve on my 13.9 @ 100mph with only a Mopar Cold Air Intake. I'm hoping to get at least 13.7

Yesterday I ended up ordering a Forward Motion Wastegate and it should be here at the end of the week. I've also decided to try to J B weld my Greddy Catch Can. I'll keep everone posted. My stock WGA seems to hold boost right at 14lbs so I am hoping the FM will do the same and spool slighly quicker.

On a turbocharged car it would be best if you just buy a new catch can rather than being ghetto about it. Or remove the can all together until you can get a new one. JB weld is fail.

come on now. im pooor. haha. I will eventually get a new catch can but I have other things on my mind right now. So the J B Weld is just a temporary fix.

Catch Can = $20 fix for the DIY catchcan.
BTW: I would have sold you my FM wastegate. I'm debating on going back stock wastegate w/ a dsp.
Tired of PTB

FM is the best way to go...
13.7 is gonna be hard with just a CAI, unless u drive the sh** out of her..
The FM wastegate will get u 13.7s easily.. mid 13's all day.

did you cap any of your solenoids? I'm going to stay PCM controlled boost but I am gonna try out the FM WGA. Hoping for a spike at 16 and hold at 14. I will also eventually get a DSP too.

Then take it off until you can get a new one. You're only creating boost leaks.

I heard the FM works best when its on PCM control.. U can probably get it to spike higher.. dont go past 18PSI if you do though.. I dropped .4 seconds off my 1/4 with just the addition my Kinetic wga. that was at a 18 PSI spike. Not sure what it held though..

Mines not on PCM control... it was that way when I got the car. I might go back to PCM Control and DSP though.

^ if i spike too high though I will throw the overboost code. I think even PTB can cause the code to pop up

by LowNSlow
PTB can yes... I haven't thrown any codes and I spike 19 and fall to 15-16.

If anything, delete the red line from the solenoids and cap off the nipple in the coldside pipe. that will keep you from throwing the overboost code.. PTB sucks ass btw..

Well the FM WGA supposedly doesnt have as much PTB as the AGP and Kinetic so hopefully I will be able to live with it. If I get that annoyed I will just put stock back in. Is the FM adjustable like the AGP or has to be taken off like the Kinetic? I'll try adjusting it on my own without capping it but if I throw the code then I'll go back and cap it.

by measy27
Yup its adjustable just like the others..

I will have pics up soon but today I put in the Prothane MM Race Inserts and my new Forward Motion Wastegate Actuator. I am still on PCM controlled boost and have all my solenoids. I put it in and when on a test drive before adjusting the boost. Right out of the box I am spiking around 17.5-18lbs and around 5k I drop to 15ish so I am very happy. I'll leave it as is and turn it up on track days.

don't turn it up.. If you go higher the your car will lean out.. that's pretty much the limit until you get fuel mods and a tune.

^ I heard that you can go up to a 19-20 spike since the 04's and 05's come with stage 1 injectors and SRT4's tend to run a lil on the rich side stock.
I am currently out in the driveway taking my cold air intake of my ACR. I've learned my lesson from hydrolock after coming back from Carlisle last year. I wouldn't worry as much if there was a splash shield made just for it like my Mopar Cold Air Intake on my SRT4.

They do run rich, but trust me.. my car crept into the 13's afr at 19 PSI . the afr dont richen up after the psi drops to red line either.. They stay lean and its not good.. trust me..
get a wideband soon.. those things are very important..

Ok then i'll stick with my 17-18 spike and 15 hold.
Anthony: Thanks man. Trying to balance school, bills, debt, girlfriend, and car. It's a challenge. And yeah LG is fun even though its fairly small. Nice new sig by the way.
