10/18/10

Did a little work over the weekend just kind of getting ready for tomarrow. Decided to take out the hahn port fueler hardware and put back in the stock fuel rail. Wasnt too bad but some of the studs that the nuts were suppose to stay on didnt so i had to inch the fuckers out like an 1/8th turn at a time.. le gay.

Oh and now im leaking coolant from my thermostat/hose. Everything is tightened up but when the motors running its dripping, how strong are the factory clamps on thoughs?

Anyways tomarrow i should be getting in my 1000cc injectors which im stoked about should be able to max out my stocker with e85 for now and im a few doll hairs away from getting the 50 trim.

OH and i bought another srt gauge pod so i can ditch the triple pod and go with the more stock look by the boost gauge.

Just going to make a list so i can check off when i go.

Exterior:
-Flat black vinyl for the rear
-Reinstall stock mesh
-Paint endtanks of intercooler black

Interior
-RB1 navigation (hopefully from santa :D)
- Leather armrest
- Relocate wideband to new srt pod

Wheels/tires
-Redo pinstriping since i have 120yards of it (logic ftl )
-225/40/18 tires... probably Nitto neo gens, since i can get a decent deal on them
-Search for slick rims/tires

Performance:
-50 trim 70a/r from bullseye/ASP
-38mm wastegate
-Supporting shit for the big turbo
-Walbro 255 fuel pump

Engine Bay:
-Massive wire cleanup
-Powdercoating the intake manifold and valve cover
-General cleanup

Image

kind of an idea :/

Some pictures of the swap.

The valve cover is just photoshopped for now, thats what i want to do when I get to it. Got to get a quote on how much it would be.

so whats the deal these are road legal? without a bike lisence? im assuming "if it keeps up with the speed laws" you can drive on the road? my major thing is alot of roads near me are 50mph and i live a bit away from everything so i dont wanna get stuck just like "oh lets go around the block" and will it go into dirt? i have tons of woods near my house

Here in IL, if it is 50cc and does less than 30mph, you don't need a license. But if it's anything more than that, you need an "L" license. If it's over 150cc, then you to an "M" class. The only difference between M and L is that with the L you don't have to pass the riding test, just the written.

What erick said about the license.

As for the speed/offroading stuff, the 150cc has enough juice to get it 55-60mph with some minor mods, mostly changing of variator and weights.

As for off roading i believe these things can, i just dont have enough open woods to test it out. There is something on youtube with a bunch of rucksters scooting through a wooded area but i forget where at.

EDIT anything above 50cc with 2 wheels in nj apperntly needs to be reguistered insured and you need a motorcycle licence
fail ugh this may put a damper on this . Although it may carry more leverage on 50mph roads as the state "sees it as amotorcycle" insurence is probably gonna be expensive though

We were using it to control secondary injectors with MS, but even though it worked OK, it didn't work as well as just MS by itself.

The yellow box is this like little transmission sheild that a local makes and paints to factory colors, i really like how they look. The chop makes it look like shit but in RL is looks coolio.

Maybe you can better see it here, and yes i copied his engine bay its so clean and simple i loves itz

hehe he hauls buns.

On a better note, the car is tuned. These injectors make me want to pee.... They are rock solid at all RPM and load. In fact, I'm still looking over it now and we're doing 70 as we speak. It's making enough power that his clutch is crying.

Everyone in the world should have these ID1000 injectors. This thing was easier and more solid to tune that thename brand 650s he had in here before. I'm so excited to get mine together now just so I can use my IDs.

Nice! So are you planning to run e85 with your future turbo too? How much hp do you think those ID1000 will support?

That trans shield will look great in there! love the plans.

Wow what an epic drive, from velveta and fruity pepples to mooning nurses, wow what the heck haha.

Oh and springfield is a ghost town at like 9-10 oclock, didnt think our capital was so desolate, but we stopped at rally's aka checkers and got some beast fries and burgers that ill probably feel for the next few hours

Anyways, btc00 thats what my dad does for a living and i run his route on the weekends and weeks he wants off when im in school.

Thanks zerochad/ryan, its called a transcover i fail at naming shit something

And yes these ID1000s are beast, there plenty enough to max out my stocker and with the walbro 255 i got too, it should flow enough for the 50 trim.

Well he use to be own by George Weston, and now Bimbo has taken over, he owns his own route so hes an Independent Operator. But yeah he delievers Brownberry/Arnolds, Bimbo Bread, Enteiman (sp), and Thomas.

Yeah this is his third route in 25 years and is probably the best since its really close to home.

Wow a day later, and hands down these injectors rock. The car feels stock again (throttle responds/afrs/smoothness) when puttsing around town but a beast when in boost. The afrs are extremely consistent.

Knock on wood but these injectors and the solid motor mounts are my favorite mods so far done to the car :D.

Injector Dynamics FTW!
