Clutch unfortunately, i thought id get away with the added power, but i was roasting the clutch in 4th gear doing pulls, because i dont think the car had enough power to lose traction (which it seemed like) in 4th so i think the clutch cant handle the torque.
Theres a local vendor that has a great deal on an ACT clutch.
Im probably going with a 6 puck sprung clutch.
Heydockyle: Ill ask the guy and see if he can make some up.

Yea, it's unfortunate that the clutch isn't holding. Have you tried goosing it up around 20psi again? It may have just been too hot from when we pegged the boost gauge at like 24psi right after we cleared the gain adjustment issue. I've seen things like that happen before. It gets ugly, and then a day later, it's sticky again.

Is the fuel table set for me to go over 20psi? If so ill go out and drive a little.

Yep, it should be within .3 of a point from my targets, which certainly isn't dangerous with the fuel you have in it.

Im telling you Injector dynamics are great, like eric kept asking me does it feel better, and at first i couldnt really tell, but after dailying it a few days i could tell the throttle response when i blipped it was there and when i go into boost the afrs stayed solid. Im very happy with them so far.
And you like the color of the wheels?

I like the style and color, just not the size. Too small of a sidewall for my tastes.

Wow sorry i should have explained

.
I was thinking over the winter break take off my zigens and just strip them down to the silver and slap on 225/40/18. The rim right now is 18x7.5, and i think mox was saying a 235/40/18 would be awesome but i checked the tire calculator in the wheel section and that size tire would throw my speedometer off.
I swear if i could find someone with 17 fn01r-c i would jump all over them and ask for a trade.

I've been in the car with you. You already drive 65 in a 65 in the middle of nowhere. I don't think 2mph is really gonna be an issue. Get the meat, for sure.

Exactly what Erick, said. My speedometer was off from my tires and and half the LEDs don't light up anymore so I can't even see the needles at night. The speedo is just a suggestion. I just roll.
And yes, strip them down to silver!

So yeah last night i was helping erick install a megasquirt on someones car, and when i got there they told me they needed to head up to home depot, since my car was warm i said what the hell lets go.
Anyways for the last like 4 months my heat shield was rattling like a mother fucker, and i didnt think anything of it since it wasnt hurting anything just wasnt pleasant to the ears. So monday i was going to jack up the car and see exactly what was rattling.
Well thats not needed anymore as i go to show this guy that were installing the megasquirt what boost is like, all of a sudden i hear a tud, then i hear a scrap like i ran over something and i see sparks skipping off in the distance in my rear view mirror.

No more annoying rattle during takeoffs and idle!!
So moral of the story neons fix themselves by getting rid of unnecessary parts.. and neons are awesome.

Tam: Yeah the sheild fell off it was pretty epic.
Erick(knight): I love the 18s i just wish i had a thicker tire on it, but maybe next year ill save up and grab a set, since no matter what tire ill have ill be breaking them loose
Speeder: Yeah i like the look too, i just wish i have the balls to strip the stock paint off my wheels, im just afraid if i do it ill fuck something up and ruin a nice set of wheels, and possible get a temp ban from Chris

.
So updates:
Traction yahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!
Time to find me some cheap ass fuck 15x7s.
Yeah the tires have been sitting for 4 years or so, so they need an epic burnout to get them warmed up next year. They still have quite a few passes left on them so hopefully MS 2 step and these slicks can get me some low 60' times.
Oh and i get a check from my insurance next week since im throwing the scooter in storage, so that means big (medium) turbo will be ordered maybe tomarrow or next week when i confirm i get the check!! Got a bomb deal on a tial wastegate and all my lines for the big (medium) turbo.
Oh and on another note i did a boost leak test the other night, I was told at carlisle that one of my bolt that where in my block off plate where backing out, sure enough i had a big leak coming from there, so i went out and grabbed another bolt from ACE, and ran the test again, and i hear hissing from that area but its not from the block off plate.
Sure as shit i have a faulty wastegate actuator from the factory. Where the two cans meet and are crimped, well its leaking around the crimps. So im like WTF!!?!?! Thank god im going with a 50 trim pretty soon so i can get rid of the stocker.
Thats all folks

12/6/10
Well christmas came early and i finally got my turbo! I was originally going to get a standard 50 trim turbo but the last wheel they had for that turbo was flawed, so i got a great deal on a s256net. I honestly am so excited and cant wait to bolt that bad boy up and see how many sets of tires i can go through in a year

.
So yeah its a Bulleye Power s256net(non extended tip) .70 a/r.
Stockpile of boxes and stuff
Oh and as for the neon... its covered in snow
Oh i might be getting another set of SRT stockers to slap some cheap all seasons on and use them during the winter.
Thanks for tuning in.

Well finally have my mindset on what i want the car to look like by next carlisle at the lastest. Pretty simple stuff just need to wrap up under the engine so i can move onto my exterior/interior stuff i want to get done.
Pixtors (Yes i made them into a sig

)
