neon2ner's srt-4: updated 09/22/10: bye bye bbs!
well..
not that too many people follow my log nowadays, but for those who do, i should have a review up about these Standard Suspension R3 coilovers shortly. i have a slalom today, and it's the first time i've used them at an event thus far with my slicks. so stay tuned for that.
in other news, i found that the flex section on the stock downpipe had too much play when i went to put my wideband in, and i decided it was useless welding the bung in on that downpipe. so i purchased a CHQ catless downpipe from modern, and i've been waiting for an excuse to buy the hondata intake manifold gasket from them, so i got both. i'm really happy with the result of the downpipe, now i just need to test out the benefits of the hondata gasket. we'll see if i notice a difference at the track where the temps get pretty high.
so yeah, aside from buying a long board to get me around campus, nothing else is new with the car or otherwise.
stay tuned for more on the STD R3 coilovers.

rob's clean as f*** R32 GT-R, I have the privelege to sponsor this car through my business. believe me, you can eat off the engine, undercarriage, wherever:
and finally, the SRT in action:
and probably my favourite pic of the srt, or any car i've ever owned:
i was really happy with how i made out at this event, for my class and overall. to be 1.5 seconds off one of the fastest local cars at an event blew me away. my driving is improving and getting better. great event, great weather and a ton of fun!
coilover review coming later, and video from the GoPro Motorsports Hero HD my business just purchased : )
thanks for looking guys.

haha. yeah, except DSP is my class.
D = category that vehicle is placed into based on OE capabilities
SP = street prepared
others are:
S = stock
SS = super stock
MOD = heavily modified
depending on points you are alotted for modifications, you are placed in classes based on that.

Yeah when I had my guy do the alignment last time I forgot to get my original strut bolt back from him, so I have one camber bolt in the front. I just have to stop at the dealer and pick it up.
I still have Thurs-Fri off so it's hard to get out to events.

so after debating for a while, i decided to sell the ACR BBS's. they are going back to the guy who i bought them from, so i know they're going to a good home.
i decided to make my nt-03's my street setup again. i just bought 225/45/17 BFGoodrich KDW's and put them back on the car today. i can't wait to try them out. next year i'll have something different for the street or the track...i haven't decided if i'm going to keep my nt-03's as my street wheels next year or not...time will tell.
i'm going out for a fall photoshoot soon with my friend kayla ross (check out her website at kaylaross.com!) so i'll have some really sick pics up in the near future.
a few iphone snaps:
cheers,
scott.

they're enkei nt-03+m's, 17x7.5, +35mm offset. they weigh in at 17lbs a piece.
i'm rolling my fenders this weekend, as especially the rear doesn't have much clearance. once that's done i may put my 3mm spacers on for a little more stance. the rear looks a little too tucked in.
