Wow...an actual prototype bumper...that's SERIOUSLY rare! You lucky bastid! I'd like to see someone snag a prototype bumper from the older SRT supercharged prototype (00-02 style headlights). That would be bad-ass!

$200 picked up from a guy who is the lead powertrain guy for SRT.
LilSparkPlug wrote:It was on Ebay Chris. And if you can't find 1200 go with 1500.
But I'm Chris.

And I don't want those, I want 2000 grit. But I can't find anything that fine. Might as well just take a board with a couple nails in it to the lights, they'd probably come out better.

LOl Not you, Canada asking where the bumper was from! You must have an autobody supply store somewhere near you? They have every grit of sandpaper imaginable.

Dunno, never seen one. Never even heard of one. I'll go ask my mechanic.

Advance Auto Parts, AutoZone, NAPA, etc. They've all had super-high grits around here.

Yeah, I'm gonna check NAPA as soon as I'm not crazy busy, and also I found out about another decent paint store in town.

Sorry man, using it as leverage to get an 02 R/T. Besides, it's all fucked up and I gotta fix it.

That's your best bet. Or order it offline. I love the Norton wet to dry, might be sold under their "black ice" line.

Spent $3 a rivet, about $40 total.
Painting the brackets now. It's been raining, so the paint doesn't like to stick.
Got some mesh for my prototype bumper.
Also picked up an Optima that I'm making fit.
Got an A-pillar gauge pod with the gauges already in it.
Car has been down for three weeks. Hopefully this weekend it will be up and running again.

It lives! But when I took it for a spin, I forgot to tighten the lug nuts on the right front when I took the alternator out. Kept making weird noises and pulling to the right.

Getting an 02 front bumper on Tuesday, hopefully a Chrysler grill and 00-02 headlights soon after. Installed my headliner (sort of) today. It looks nice, I gotta say.
