well i got two little problems that i want to take care of quick one is that the car rattles or shakes upon acceleration if i put it in neutral and rev nothing or if i put the clutch in and rev nothing either which leads me to believe that an axle is bad.

the other thing is that when i turn my headlights off the car revs up like 300 rpms on its own its kinda sensitive to power draw what would you guys recommend to look at or check for? thanks in advance

As far as the electrical issue, you will want to check your grounds first. Make sure they are all attached and clean. After that, check battery condition, then alt output.

i just wante to post up some pictures of the car i put the bronze rims from the white car on the black car for now until i get the rims i want. hope you guys like them. next thing to do is get all the body work done install my r/t skirts and paint the car so stay tuned.

lsp and sidepipe: well i was going to go to az and my friend was going to paint it white for free, meanwhile i did all the body work and got the color i actually wanted. since i didnt go im just going to save up and go with the original color. i havent seen a neon in the original burnt orange tastefully done so my trek is to be the first lol.

luis: a friend wanted to and actually sprayed some white on the rear drivers side quarter panel but i stopped him lol.
the white car is rocking the same stockers that sidepipe has on his signature. im just using the 18's until get tires on the snowflakes and put them back on these feel too heavy

ummm... am i the only one that thinks it looks sick in primer??? i say primer the bumpers and trunk the same primer and keep it that way!

^^ yeah me too. i also can't wait till all of it is finished. body work and paint that is.

i've been in the car today in the passender seat and the car runs great. it's pretty quick expecially DOHC. quite loud as well.

I have no idea who's green car this was but it came out pretty good for only using 5 cans on satin black rustoleum.....

Are you talking about the Salsa Red? Or is it a different color entirely?

^After re-reading his poll I'm assuming that's what he means. That's cool too, but I was hoping for the Prowler Orange.

Yeah it's really not red....I don't know why they called it that. But when taken care of it's a really nice color

ok so i thought i would let you guys know what i have planned next for the car. if all goes well this should all take place before carlisle because i plan on attending this year i cross my fingers that i can make it.

these are the things i want to do before carlisle

exterior:

1) get all the body work done.
2) paint car either prowler orange or salsa red pearl.
3) paint and install my mopar skirts.
4) custom fit a oem jdm honda civic hatch eg lip on my front bumper.
5) rebadge the whole car to chrysler neon including front grille.
6) get some bux tails, and tint the turn signals in the headlights amber.
7) get a avs downdraft spoiler.
fix the tint on my rear glass and my front passenger window.
9) get a stock srt mid section pipe and have a muffler shop make me a custom side exit exhaust.

wheels:
im looking at a couple wheels here are my options im still debating on going with either 16x8 or 17x8 and the set i get will either be black or gunmetal

1) drag 21s
2) drag 31s
3) rota boost
4) rota g force
5) rota optimus
6) rota j-mag

interior:

1) get srt seats and install acr harness holsters.
2) black out the headliner and upper interior plastics.
3) get my gauge cluster and hvac done by wiggyx (and a shifty wink wink lol).
4) get some 4 point harnesses and a seatbelt harness bar.
5) get a scan gauge, oil pressure, and volts gauge.

my plans for next year are to go boost on a fully built engine with megasquirt, and get some coilovers

sounds good. Only thing I don't like is the SEE, they are too loud imo.

DON"T put a Honda lip on that bumper. Keep the RT bumper an RT bumper. If not, sell it to me, and I'll give you my 02 w/ Honda lipped bumper.
