little update i got my 60mm jeep tb to day in the mail heres a little list of things i still need to get other than this im pretty much set to get the car running

1 dohc fuel rail
2 srt 4 valve cover bolts
3 get the correct exhaust manifold
4 get the rear glass installed
5 take the headlights and front and rear bumpers off the green neon and put them on

so i took a little trip to the pick apart today and i scored big time lol i got a 2002 r/t front bumper,
i got a 2.4 fuel rail, with the fuel line that goes to the fire wall, and injectors with pigtails,
all the bolts for a 2.4 valve cover. all for 75 bucks
im really stocked.

well i noticed that the previous owner has fucked up all the harnesses in the car because he had installed and alarm himself and he did his own stereo harness as well.
needles to say the harnesses are all messed up so i tore the green neon down and took the engine harness, the whole dash board harness and the harness that goes from the dash to the relays and the lights out to replace the ones in my car i am making really good progress ill post pictures of everything later tonight when the pictures upload thanks for watching.

Peekchuresssss Damn you got that stuff insanely cheap though. I wish the junkyards around me were like that. They wanted $300 for a painted rear neon bumper...

R/T bumpers are ghey.

lsp: i know for a total of 100 bucks i got the bumper, the fuel rail, the injectors, the valve cover bolts, and the magnum intake manifold not bad if you ask me.

i also spotted a 2gn with the seats that have the headrests on the rear seats im going to see how much they want for em and im going to pick them up they got the full set of seats.

Damn, you got lucky. The Pull-A-Part close to me has no 2gn gen neons. And like 5 1st gen neons. I never find anything useful there ever.

Nah, I think we could all use those foglights.

na the fogs were gone otherwise i would of snagged them too lol.

the skirts are all there but the front drivers piece is damaged

the rear bumper is still there but spider webbed really bad the engine transmission and ecu are still there two of the silverstones are there the intereior is still there minus the seats the sunroof and some other misc parts

if you could get the skirts cheap, i would grab them. LSP got a set off me that were broken, and shes going to fix them, there in high high demand people will fix them. guessing grille was gone as well

na the valve cover is gone too sorry i took the intake mani and the exhaust mani and full exhaust is gone too no headlights but the tails are there still

little update i started to take the black neon apart to swap out the harnesses here are some crapy camera pictures sorry for the blurriness

why do you need to pull the dash harness

I got wicked confused when you said black neon and I saw red door jambs. And yeah if you find skirts it would be in your best interest to grab them, they're quite the rage right now.

1972 deamon: the previous owner trashed the harnesses when he installed a car alarm by himself and he screwed up the stereo harness too so since i dont want to have any problems in the future i decided to pull harnesses and swap them out

well i go most of the harnesses done i just need to get the car back together then do the engine work and start the car

You need to adjust the focus on your camera. Those pics are really blurry.

well i finished the entire dash harness and now the car is back to normal well on the inside that is i only managed to break one thing the glove compartment box door so in my book thats good progress.

i usually break allot of shit jeje ill post pics tomorrow when the sun is out tomorrow im going to tackle the harness that goes to the ecu and all the lights ill keep posting up my progress thanks for looking

well i got the whole engine harness done .

while i was at it i swapped my non tilt steering wheel for the tilt steering wheel in the green neon.
i took the steering wheel air bag from the green neon also.

and to finish the day i got both the fender well splash guards from the green neon on my car along with the headlights and my r/t front bumper.
today i was really productive.

and i finished shaving the letters from my srt 4 valve cover

i just gotta clean the interior and swap out the engine and finally take it out for a spin
