my dad had a stroke in june leaving the right side of his body limp, blind in the right eye, & loss of speech. hes been going through physical, occupational, & speech therapy everyday for 3 hrs a day. he's slowing gaining everything back but its still going to take time. the benefit today raised over 12k

2 taps later, finally finished taping the other side of the frame. now we can get the bag mount mocked up & then finally get the bridge completed. i decided to go ahead & pull the fenders off & take a look at the headlight issue. only thing that needs trimming is a bracket for the fender / bumper trim & part of the headlight bracket.

Tonight we added another tube to the bridge before we started mocking up the shocks. Took awhile to find a good spot, but we got it done. Still not finished with the bridge yet..........Should have the truck ready to start on the front end by the end of the week

Someone learn me:
Why all the tubing? Is it for strength? Looks? or is that just the way it's done?

^^^^
I think that it might have to do with more of looks than use. Expecally if he is going to have the rear exposed it will look good for future shows..

I was wondering about the tubing too. Cause damn, there is a lot going on there.
You should have a contest to see who can trace all the tubing routes from beginning to end in under 30 seconds without making a mistake. Whoever can wins the truck

I saw a sailboat in the maze of tubing...

I think it's primarily show. However, some of that tubing is bridging the notches and strengthening the air bag mounts. In custom trucks, that bracing is exposed a lot due to the C notches needed and so I think it has become practice to make it look as nice as possible so it will be shown to all.
