Stock Bar vs the adjustable Whiteline bar

Very easy uninstall.. Just undo the endlinks, and undo the mounts, then slide the bar out. Didn't even have to jack the car up do it.

Just as easy install.. I did have to jack the car up to get the endlinks into the "race" adjustment place. Lowered the car and tightened it all down.
Opened it up around a couple corners and the rear end rotated nicely. The rear also has more traction which is nice. Left some nice tire marks in front of my house. The best judge of how good this bar is will be at the next autocross, but right now I am happy.

and here are some pictures of my new house. It's the main reason I haven't spent very much money on the car recently.

It's actually on the point closest to the rear of the car.. aka the tightest setting.Danteneon wrote:Nice barsI see you went with the center point to start.
Gratz on the houseNew/newer construction? I am in envy of your 2 car garage.
House was built in 2006, People were foreclosed on in 2007, sat vacant until early 2009 when a remodel company bought it and completely gutted it and rebuilt it. I purchased it in March of this year. Has all kinds of upgrades including tile floors in most of the house, hardwood floor in the dining room, berber carpet in the bedrooms, Marble counter tops and back splashes, Upgrading bathrooms with jacuzzi tubs and roman style shower, expensive light fixtures and ceiling fans, etc etc. The garage is awesome. I have enough room to work and eventually put in a lift. 4 bedroom, 3 bath, 2200 square feet (2700 if you count the garage), on a half acre of land in the woods outside the Fort Myers area.

LOOOOOOOONG Day..
It's always funny how something as simple as installing a set of stiffer springs can turn into an all day ordeal. The EVO is a very easy car to work on. One of the easiest cars I have ever worked on and a million times easier than my Mazda was. The Mazda required a jack to be place between the hub and strut assembly to separate the two which just simply wore you out.
Today I got up early to beat the heat. Started working on the car around 8am. The driver's side front was incredibly easy to install. I had it done within 35minutes. I went around to the passenger side, and started loosening the lug nuts. Got to the 5th one and it wouldn't budge. Put my breaker bar on it and SNAP. My hand slams into the concrete breaking my pinkie. OMG that fucking hurt. I cant move it and it's all black and blue. Now this wasn't the only bad part about this sudden release. The Wheel stud stripped out of the hub. For the next 2 hours I had to remove the hub/spindle from the car with the wheel still attached, just to remove the stripped out wheel stud. What a pain in the ass.
I cut my index finger almost to the bone while doing the rear struts. I am so completely worn out. So i'll cut this short with some pictures.

The springs haven't settled yet, but when all is said and done the car will be a total of an inch lower front and rear. The biggest thing is the higher spring rates which should help out a lot in autocross and make the struts feel less oversprung.

Well my friend's girl friend, who's a nurse, came over too look at it and she did her tests and said is probably a small fracture with a dislocation. I set it back into place after it happened. Thing was off to the side. She also cleaned out my index finger. Said I didn't need stiches.

What's the deal with the Swift springs? Never heard of them. Are they legitimate?
