Are you sure its not just the warm up of the bulbs. They take a few seconds to gain full output.

Chad I think you misread. He said they STAY ON for 5 seconds, not take 5 seconds to start up.

that is what i used ryan. it works really good, thing is if you use it and want to primer it prior GET the matching high temp primer... i had a mustang many many moons ago i used the heat temp paint and not the primer.... flakes off fast.... but i was young and cheap back then.. lol, .99 cent primer or 4.00 primer... yup... dumb... lol

and chad they start right up, but the problem is that they stay on.... i just got home from the mall with the gf today... i may get some moched pics of them tonight.... i threw the bumper on and the eylids taped on to get an idea of the front... i am not sure right now if i like them or not..... lol

did it faster than i expected... lol

EDIT FOR PICS!!!!!!! :)

lol, i know dan, thanks i have been toying with the idea of cutting the front lip off, and going with the other honda lip like anthonys.... it may help it flow better.... idk.... and the other thing i have been toying with is going back to a stock hood, shaving the wiper squarters, and painting it black, unless you want to give me your ipp hood dan???? :) ..... i really like the suby hood with the front bumper though, i just think the regular type r lip is getting to plain...

i am still trying to work on the engine bay. i have several issues i have to think about, first is what i am going to do with the oil catch can.... just can not find a good spot for it yet. other is getting my nitous line ran, and getting a new line for my fuel sol. still trying to hunt down a welder. and not sure what color i want to go with the interfenders.... i was thinking flat black, but i just dont know.....

honestly i just dont like the whole area by the headlights and grille i guess...the lip is fine but i different lip might also make it look less plain haha

if you want my IPP hood i would take a stock hood in black and some cash for it

*calls junk yard for hood*
*junk yard out of hood, looks in garage.. the daily 05 does not need a hood*

*looks in wallet*

offer dan.... stock black hood, and five dollars. sound good? i thought so. i will be sending check out tonight.

i know shipping will cost me about 300 but hey thats ok, as long as you take 5 dollar payments for lets say the rest of my life, call it a deal...

i really do want the ipp hood. that is about the only aftermarket hood i like for the neons, that and the mesh style see threw one that was made very few of for the srts.

I'm with Dan, the bumper needs a grille or something to fill that gap. I like the bottom of it but not the headlight area either. It's bland and the opening cries for a grille. Can you get an 02 grille in there??

i'm sure it would still fit but i can tell by looking at it the mounting tabs were shaved off so he has nothing to hold it in place. Sounds like another custom job

ok, my next project is starting.... i NEED to do something with my back seat area.... as i am getting sick of the bucket seats, not comfterble and not often used...... plus with my front buckets getting warn i need to look for others.... being able to buy FOUR racing seats, or srt seats is not going to happen.

I AM ON THE HUNT FOR SRT SEATS! LET ME KNOW IF YOU HAVE ANY FOR SALE! also after the purchase i will be getting the harness covers for them like the acr seats have.

anyway... back to my rear seating area idea.....

first of all. the two tens in the center of the car WILL be staying. as i am not getting rid of that because that is my entire layout in my trunk, that would lead to alot of money that i do not have to change things and get things to fit, i also like some good music while i drive ... i do not want to do a stock bench either... because its been done...

ok, my idea is kinda simple.... race car style, but looking complete in the process... here is my idea.... i am going to be taking a peace of sheet metal and making a barrier between the passanger compartment and the trunk. it will be cut out around the box so the two subs will be there...

now comes the questions. how would i finish the floor? carpet? sheet metal painted? i have wiring and harnesses running threw that part of the car, so i am thinking carpet would be the best...... but i would like to here some thoughts on this.....

pics to kinda give an idea......
now i could paint the sheet metal, and do like i have seen with companys names in vynal on it after it is painted or polished (may even go stainless steal)

Image

Image

floor pic, car has been dynomated
Image

or could i almost get away with carpeting the entire thing? panel floor, fender wells? all of it???????? or would that be way to plain????

EDIT, almost forgot, i am getting a grille from wayne (smallblock) when he comes back to ny.... lol, at least it will give me an idea of what it is going to look like.......

well i just went up to the performance shop that my buddys suby is in, and i sat in his car, he has a one year old set of sparco speed seats in his car. non reclinable, for me alittle tight, but not bad, holds me well to the seat. needless to say, when the car leaves the shop, the seats are going home with meeeeee.... :) finally will be doing a two seater car this year, with my mild cage already in it, i have pulled the two rears out, and the two front stockers are also going away, and being replaced by these sparcos. i am now on the hunt for a set of BLUE sparco harnesses.

i will be pulling my stock seats out this weekend and starting to look into making brackets for the sparcos, along with getting my back area cleaned up, divider made, and painted, along with some mild carpeting...

pics to fallow... i am super pumped about the cars new interior look!!!!

i never got a pic of the seats unfortunatly, i forgot.... to busy talking about the 6 evos in the shop, two subys, several dsms... i am hoping to get one sometime this coming week so i can start making the brackets. if i can get one i can get the brackets made and installing the other when the car leaves the shop will be a peace of cake....

pics of gutted interior prolly happen on saturday. lol

well i go and pic up one of the seats on monday, today i spend all day out in the garage.... well ten hours accually.... i will say at least three quarters was spent looking thinking wtf??? or where do i go from here???

anyway.... i have gotten a fair amount done today... the back divider panel is about 70 percent done, i got two peaces made for seat brackets that i will need when i moch up the seats on monday. i took only the drivers seat out of the car because the passanger seat has alot of shit on it... (pic showed above :) )

anyway on with a few pics....
i want to know what you think, if you think it looks like shit PLEASE tell me, because i am kinda winging this right now.

been alittle bit since i have updated, some pics of my progress so far....

i am in process of ording my ms 2 daughterboard to upgrade my ms1 extra to ms two, gives me more tuning capabilties and a better idol... ( hatted that with a passion)

sparco seats as promised.... :) not all mounted yet, they are kinda tricky to mount so i am going to pull them out and clean all the carpet and everything before i mount them permently... along with figuring some kinda mount for my fire extingusher, (hoping to go in the center console)

Image

Image

just last night i cut the carpet for the back seat area... it is in the test fitting part now... i will be gluing it down when i am done with the back seat area.

i have been thinking i may do some logos on the devider panel.... asp, envious customs, weisco, eagle, turbo xs, and so on and so on, or i may just say hell with it and carpet the devider and the box. i would like the logos on the car someware, and i figured that would be a good place for them..... i am just not sure....

any thoughts?

If you want logos to be somewhere, that would be a good place to put them.

Gratz on the S256...car will be a breast for sure (which is awesome on many levels)
