ok, so i have made a list of future parts i have to order to get my car done...
-arp head stud kit
-adjustable cam gear
-udp (this is questionable because i see some of them could throw a code)
-rear pads and rotors
-oil temp gauge
-solid motor mounts (bwoody)
-dual purge nitrous kit
-cubby under radio (getting today from junk yard)
-gauge cluster bezal (getting today from junk yard)
-lateral bar bushings rear (ordered)
-lateral bar bolt that i broke (ordered, and picked up)
-intercooler piping kit
-turbo timer (thinking swoosh one on ebay)
-canadian gauge cluster, black face with tach (if i can get this i will be going with a volt gauge as well)
booger shifter booshings (ordered)
i think that about covers everything... if any of u have this stuff for sale, let me know....
i have not been working on the car this week, but hoping saturday the block and tranny comes out, (all that is left is i have to pull the cv shafts out) and i can start tearing it down... then the waiting game of getting money will start.

did u ever figure out where that gauge is gunna go?

yeah, i am going to do the gauge cluster bezal like the one that u could get from neon goodies.... but i am really hoping to get the canadian gauge cluster somehow. get rid of my small tach. and go with a volt gauge on the other side of the bezal
or if someone can find me a black face backing for the stock white face that would be kick ass to!!! lol

well i picked up a gauge cluster today from the local junkyard (well they r pulling it for tomorrow) i am going to prolly go with a face from the speedhut.com, i can pritty much make it match my autometer sport comps to the T... i think i will be much happier with that. than looking at kph all the time....
picking the cluster up tomorrow, along with one other thing.

i could be wrong but didnt you say you were swapping over to MS control?
if thats the case you shouldn't be worried about throwing codes..

i am worried about throwing codes once a year though... inspection time sucks in ny state... so anything that is a complete pain to change i will not be doing, ms will be some work change over. i know this, (but i can do it over the winter, get it inspected, then change over for the summer) but the benifits of ms are FAR greater than the benifits of messing with an udp.

He doesn't need a mag head he already has a ported and polished head with valves and etc. So now you have me thinking dt because i'm usually one step in front of your insanity and now i'm like wtf is he getting now. You better surprise me buddy.

They say that even a race-ported non-mag head doesnt come close to flowing like a magnum head... So don't count that out yet. It really cant be anything else.
EDIT: Maybe its a R/T guage cluster. Or a trans. Only 3 things to pick from.

Hmm well you never know with dt it's prolly something small and he is boosting 20 psi in the summer with nitrous so i would rule out the r/t trans too because i heard you don't want those gears for a boosted car you want to stay in the gears longer. I have to read up cuz i want to do a DOHC swap for mine.

buhahaha,

i can get a mag head from there (but they will not separate the block and head, so i would have to buy the whole thing, not worth 300 to me)... but that is not what it is.... it does bolt to said mag head though, also i am picking it up to help fellow 2gn people. i am going to be selling it on here, paypal only, and just because i need money on my paypal to get some motor mounts and a tranny mount for crystal

... (i hate waiting for paypal to transfor funds, plus if i can help someone out i will always do it)
*cough* mag intake manifold *cough*

my car has been taken apart several times before... so things tend to come apart pritty nice, while i am waiting on money to roll in i am going to be tearing the stock block apart, and starting to put the new one together, i am going to check the valve clearence on the head and new block (just to make sure) then i am going to have to wait for money for a fierneza adjustable cam gear, and arp head studs. after that i should be set to get the block back together and back in the car... then the process of an ms install will begin.
i ordered my oil temp guage on friday i should have it today so i will start with my guage pods as well...
