i was thinking the 3157 wedge base led on superbrightleds.com in amber, id prefer blue but i think amber would be better for a turn signal
id probably run something similar for the sidemarkers

either those or just the plain old blue 3157 bulbs on modern

Not to mention you could/might/will get pulled over for "impersonating a police officer" with the blue turn signal.

You said "might/could get pulled over. I said "will". That's two different things. :D

And I've been pulled over for that, so I do recommend amber. I don't want that to happen to slaw either.

Just an asshole. It was my first encounter with the police, ever. :( Damn honda lover.
I found a support VA police decal, and put the bitch inside my front windsheild, lower driverside.

if you are looking for a pacesetter header i got like 30,000 hits on a google search. Ebay alone has em for $200ish but you might as well buy an OBX mid length for that price.

100 bucks, my brother bought one for his 03, then he sold the car and never installed it, so he sold it to me for 100 bucks, he painted it blue and idk how good of a job he did but it looks ok, ill post pics of it before and after install

how'd the alt swap go?

Posted: Sat Oct 10, 2009 10:55 pm
by slaw
no alt swap or header install for me :(

too busy for both me and allex to do any of the installs

but for general progress i picked up my rear bumper for me to sand down, and dropped off the front, which ill be picking up friday

i also got the stereo all done up , all i need now is to clean up some loose wires, and i also finished wiring up the leds and halos, although i still need to solder everything together

as of now i have a new-ish alternator sitting in the backseat, and new-ish fender liners(which will go on after new bumpers) and i also still need to line up the headlights, but as the car sits right now its in my driveway with no bumper on waiting to align the lights

im gonna swing down to a close parking lot this week sometime and adjust them using anthonys projectors thread

ohhhhh and my battery died on me today, so ill probably be picking up allex's old one for a short term solution

better now than in the dead of winter! The battery probably died cuz your alt. couldn't' charge it properly.

If that's the case you'll want to do the alternator too....or you'll end up in the same boat all over again :(
