yeah i dont think the skirts are going on today
the instructions they came with are shit and i keep holding these hooks up to the inside of the skirts and none of the holes line up, im so freaking confused

ill either just tape them up and screw them in on the side or wait till another day, the whole not understanding instructions + light raining + freezing cold makes me want to leave them alone

Definitely screw them. I'd worry they would fall off with tape

Isn't that kind of how you're supposed to install them? They tape up top, then drill into the rocker on the bottom and in the wheel well?

I was thinking, since you are gonna be driving through snow and salt with the coils, you could take the springs off and have them blasted and powder coated. They couldn't cost that much.

Those brackets go on first. THEN the skirts sort of slide over top of them, or hook into them. Mine weren't even taped on top. Just screwed into the bottom and wheel wells. If done right, they still wont move. Mine never did.

If you don't have a local guy my dad uses these guys for doing metal stair cases and railings but they specialize in automotive applications.

I would have them do my rims but, one is slightly bent so its not worth the money.

A hand in putting on the skirts (on the CAR m'kay?). Once you get the springs powdercoated (E-blue FTW!) let me know if you'll need a hand w/ those too.

ok bumper is done and installed....kinda

i went to put the lip on and it doesnt have the x's and it was late so i said fuck it and just was gonna put the bumper on w/out the skirts

so i reinstalled the grill, badge(which i dont have any screws ,nuts or bolts for) , fogs and sidemarkers +clips

went to put the bumper on and apparently the washer fluid bottle is in the way on my pass side because it wont let me put the fogs in while its installed, so i pulled the fogs out, figured id fix that later

and then i come to find out i dont have the bolts and screws that go under the hood on the radiator support

and then the pass headlight has a gap where it meets the bumper, which i had originally with my old bumper, but i fixed that before i removed the old one, maybe its just loose, ill have to check into that tomorrow

and then the outer pass side fender bolt wont tighten, and it was 8pm,dark as hell outside, and i was tired and hungry and i said fuck it and ill deal with it tomorrow or sunday

and the body guy said my rear end should be ready by wed, unfortunatley i cant afford to pick it up til friday
but its prorgress
