I don't have sways, and actually, my rear vibrant strut bar got the threads stripped, you guys think I can call up modern and they will send me a replacement? I've had these since April. :-k

Yea ill have to give them a call.

I really want to build a motor or even srt swap, I just don't know what way I wanna go with it. I'm having a good deal of issues with the lock rings on my coilovers. They are like, seized and even wd40 doesn't do a whole lot, so I might be diving into a new set of coilovers.

^ Yep. Mine did that same nonsense. Idk if I overtightened them or what, but the rears were NOT moving when I got rid of the car.

Dude yea. I might have made them a little more tight then I wanted. More annoying then anything.

So what you two are saying is coilovers kept on the super low setting seems to be a bad idea. Got it.

Lul. I know I was stupid anal about mine coming loose so I cranked the fuckers crazy tight. There is probably some sort of spec to set them to.

Steven, use PB blaster. Spray it every day for a week, literally. Then, heat them up a TAD. Not a lot, or the gases inside of the shock will heat up. Then, try loosening them.

Or, try using a blowtorch for about 15 minutes. Should cure the problem.

They get seized from debris and crap getting into the threads as well as the metals being different (<--- that's not a fact. I just made it up. But it's a fact) I just cleaned my threads off with a stiff bristle brush and sprayed WD-40 all over them last weekend while I was trying to solve other problems.

he pretty much called it, and it's the reason why i'm not going to be rolling coilovers in the winter. right in my ksport manual, it says to keep the bitches clean, or the threads will get shit in them seizing the coils.

clean, clean, clean, and they'll come loose. jerry has a damn good idea there too

also, paint your car. stop with anything/everything else, and get it painted

In due tyme. About to buy the spacers for the front, and some tires too.

I did buy foglights however, woot woot, along with yellow bulbs for them. Working on a few other things, I'll keep everyone updated.

FUCKING WIN on the fogs! Idk man, I think you need to throw some smoked rock blocker or lamin-x over them. I'm gonna do it on mine finally to tie them in with the black housings/eventual retros better.
