And you love it.
You would love it even more if you had TWO threads, but someone says it won't get enough "attention"

dont be jealous of the flames, everybody knows they make you go faster. (=

Well I have ghost flames. so should be even faster lol.

A good compound/buff should take those right out of there. I still need to buff Nee. Buying a used car though, it seems like there are so many OTHER things they need other than a detail that it ends up waiting on the back burner.

I tried buffing with good 3m compound, and even extra cut compound. Didn't make a big difference. The car has been painted before, and for all I know the paint under the flames is original paint and the other paint is just a different color. My dad says it was painted with enamel paint...

Poor little neon has been attacked by the flames. It tried to get rid of them and will now be haunted for the remainder of it's existence. In other news, does it run well?

Well on that news lol. Idk yet. I've been pretty tight on time. I only got enough of the car to start it. All the vac lines were off, oops, and as soon as it started it went straight to redline so I had to shut it off. The motor sounded good from what I could hear lol. And hell the thing started up easier then my car does when it's cold.
I'm just glad to hear it start, because being it never ran in the first place, I had know clue if the thing ran at all. Kid could've been lying.
I still have to:
Take a/c compressor mount off.
Get alt belt and alternator all fastened down and plugged in. (hoping it's good)
power steering belt on
figure out where all the dam vac lines go.
hook up egr shit
outer timing cover needs put on.
side motor mount is done drying(filled) so i need to put it back in.
need to take the front motor mount out and fill it.
6x9's need put in
radiator needs put in
All I can think of for now. I'll have some pics of the intake manifold all painted up and everything on the car tonight.

Cars done. Just have to go get the plates for it monday.
Drained the trans fluid to find gear oil. Pretty sure that's not supposed to be in there even with the phantom grip. Removed it and put atf in there for now. Going to get mobil 1 for it tonight.

You've been a little busy bee now haven't you???
How the fuck did gear oil end up in the trans?

There are certain types of gear oil that can be used in the trans, but they probably just used generic gear oil. I'd use 2.5 qts of pennzoil synchromesh fluid, it's what I've used in my 98 with the phantom grip and it works great.

Cuz the kid is an idiot. And I've heard good things about Mobil1 in the trans so thats what I picked up. 22+ tax for 5 qts...
Going to go try to get the title switched over and all that shit tomorrow. Seeing it being hell for some reason.
