Computer has a Chrysler sticker on it with this part number:

05293064AD

Also got her on the road today. Runs good. Has 3.94 trans from what I can tell, atleast thats what the gearing feels like. Clutch also seems to be slipping when I try to chirp third. So much for brand new.

Lol then that would defy the point of buying this car. I need to get the computer figured out though. Not wanting to run 93 if I don't have to. Cost me 25 to fill up from a quarter tank.

I think the vent or something is plugged up because it kept shutting the pump off and squirting gas everywhere.

Car shuts off at 118, mopar computer wouldn't. Also have some shitty phone videos of tach to post later.

Car has highway 5th gear. Car also pulls much harder then mine up to 110mph, then like quits lol... Gotta get this computer figured out.

Horrible cell phone quality and pulling out in second gear ftl...

My 2gn has 3.94 trans out of a 2003 R/T and a P/T clutch. Has intake and exhaust and thats it. It will spin second, and chirp third. If you put it to the floor while cruising in 1st it will not spin.

My 1st gen feels like 3.94's, but the kid said it was a 3.55. It feels just like the trans in my orange car, only with the taller 5th gear. If i'm cruising in 1st slowly, and floor it it goes straight to rev limiter spinning. If the roads are wet it will do it in second too. Idk whats up with the computer in my car, but the mopar computer wouldn't shut off like mine did at 118, and the stock computer wouldn't rev to 75... It has a short throw shifter, solid bobble, port and polished intake manifold, gasket matched and polished head, side exit exhaust and a shitty intake setup. The stock exh mani is cracked hurting the performance, but it still runs good. It pulls hard up to the 7500, where my 2gn dies at 6k.

The video was a mild run pulling out in second gear from a dead stop lol.

Future plans are:

A. 2.4 swap in summer then small turbo. *More Expensive Route

B. Keep this motor, new header, cams, computer, clutch. * More Realistic Route

Well oil light is coming on at idle. Only after I run it for a little while. If I shut it off for a minute and turn it back on it takes a while to come back on. Goes away if I hit the gas. Gonna check it tonight. If it doesn't blow up before I get home.

Sorta, changed the oil and filled it up the day I got it on the road. Checked it today and it was almost down to the add a quart line. That still wouldn't make the light come on. Did some investigating and it looks like the oil pressure sending unit was leaking which would ground out the wires giving me the false oil light. I bought one and changed it a little bit ago, real pain in the ass. I'm going to drive it tonight and see if it fixed the problemo.

If it doesn't fix it I'm just going to max out credit cards and buy a new motor and stuff for it. Then go so far into debt I file bankruptcy at the age of 19...

Well it hasn't come on yet, so that's good. I did manage to break the pcv valve tho :( ...

I'm going to buy some gauges for it. oil pressure is one for sure. Electrical or mechanical first of all? Glowshift okay? And what else besides oil pressure?

Stock dohc ecu's rev to 7200, a mopar sohc ecu revs to 7400, and a mopar dohc ecu revs to 7600. You may have a 3.55 with a .81 5th gear, you can do the rpm calculations here:

http://www.neons.org/tire/rpm2.shtml

Start plugging in numbers until it makes sense lol.

oh okay. Well I think it's 3.94 because when my orange car had 3.55 it would do 96 in 3rd and now only around 80. At 7200 this one does like 85.

I think it's 3.94 with the taller gear , which would be .72 right? Cuz my orange car don't drop in rpm as much when I go to 5th.

Yeah, you can get a 3.94 with a .72. If it's a stock DOHC trans, it has that, or if it's a PT cruiser trans, it has that. I think stratus' too. Get the numbers off the side of it, and send them to drakito on .org, he'll be able to tell you for sure.

I sure wish I had a 3.94/.72 in my 98 and nyg than the .81. It kills me on the highway with how loud the 98 gets.

my orange car ain't bad with it but yea if this had .82 it would be a horrible droan cuz it's all straight pipe except a little resonator.

You want an electrical gauge, not a mechanical gauge...unless you want to run an oil line into the car.
That computer part number comes up as this:
Electrical - Powertrain control - Ecm Ecm, neon, dohc, auto trans 1998 - 1999

The auto trans part don't make sense. Auto would never rev to 7200. I need to get a mopar computer asap lol.

And yea I am either get those nitrous glowshift knockoffs or the black glowshift.

No it sure doesn't, but on Mopar Parts America that's what that PN shows up as. On this website it shows up as a DOHC with a manual tranny:
