Check Engine light is back, O2 sensor problem. The kid broke both of the clips holding the plugs together so IDK if thats the problem or if it's the sensor itself.

The only plug that i've seen on the car, without the plugs broke is the oil pressure sending unit, and the main two for the computer. Like honestly, once you break like 6, don't you think you would quit and realize they have a tab you have to push in.
Idiots, I swear. Aleast it has a good home now, just needs some work. I wish i would've bought it in the summer, so much easier to work on then.

No, just keep breaking shit...you can't understand why people like that do the shit they do...because you have a brain and they don't.

Yea tell me about it.
Got my shifty on lol.
And I ordered a radio wiring harness for my GF's 02 Sunfire, and got this.
To keep the chimes, they want you to relocate the stock head unit somewhere else in the car, and use this harness to give it power. Fuck that..

So fuzzy bought my euro tails. Now I'm deciding what to do with the extra money. I was debating on getting an exhaust manifold since the one thats on it is cracked. But the more I thought about it, the more I think I should just put it in saving, so I incase anything else breaks I have the money to fix it and not have to wake up OB.
Oh and If I have time I'll be splitting the two progress logs up tomorrow.

I would say definitely save it. Seems like the car is a wee bit unreliable right now.

Yea, that's what I'm gonna do. Yea she is a little unreliable at the moment. But I do have to give Big Red credit, she hasn't made me walk yet, and she's had quite the horrible past.

It hasn't made you walk because it fails at your house, lol

Na, the power steering broke belt, then the alternator jumped off and looked like it did in those pictures about 20 miles from home. The belt stayed on like that for around 20 miles. Never squealed either lol.

Well after driving it today it's been 110 miles since they broke, and they both look good. So i'm hoping I did.

Hey
heydockyle

by TheRandom1
Agreed, tint would look good on OB...

Yes, would've been done end of summer if funds were there. But it'll definitely be done first of summer. Might get it on the 1gn too.

You should upgrade to a PT cruiser exhaust manifold and 2gn cat. It will bolt directly to the head, and the 2gn cat will bolt up to your stock catback!!
Posted: Sun Jan 10, 2010 9:31 pm
by heydockyle
Why pt manifold? Would it be better then an aftermarket one? The cat that is on it is completely hollowed out, so I don't think I should put a 2gn one on.

Well somehow I think Big Red is losing oil. Whether it's leaking somewhere or it's burning it. I can't tell for sure since it was leaking because of the bad OPSU. The oil is also very dirty, but I figured that. Who knows how long it's been since the oil had been changed. I did change it when I got it running btw, it's just dirty already.
I'm going to change the oil tomorrow night, plus put a larger capacity oil filter on it and see if it is still losing oil.

Not much going on with OB. Gave Big Red her own log.
When things start to warm up there is an extensive list of things to do to OB:
- Fix the seals on the headlights. I glued the ones on(The outside ones) and the glue left white residue.
- Take front lip off, and replace with good lip that isn't cracked.
- Take skirts off and have repainted
- Put rear lip on
- Do something with hvac led's
- Buy a 120amp pt cruiser alt so lights don't dim
- Sand curb rash off SRT wheels so they can be powdercoated, plus save up for tires.

Well no progress yet, way too busy.
So my next questions:
Wing or no wing? I will give comparison pics later.
Srt Wheels - Color? Personally I'm thinking staying black. Then I was playing with the idea of an OB lip? Idk, give me your color ideas.
