OK the Aeroforce gauges are 95% installed. I just need to secure the gauge pods in a permanent fashion and we're good to go. (Talk about super easy install!) Pics as always, will follow lol.

These gauges are DD tits! Super easy install, and they monitor EVERYTHING. A/F ratio, knock advance/retard, boost, fuel rail pressure (direct injection specific), cat temps, air temps pre and post intercooler, etc etc etc. Best of all it's a scan tool so CEL's can be looked up and cleared right then and there, WOOHOO! Alrighty... pics let me know what you think!
Twin Aeroforce Interceptor gauges
Startup mode w/ SS branding
Bright lights! lol
Close up showing off the custom SS faceplates ans some of what can be monitored on the fly, anytime.

Thanks! Actually they don't block as much as I'd thought initially. Well, that, and I don't want to "advertise" that I have a set of gauges in the car.

I had chrome rings on before to match the factory look, but swapped them as soon as I saw how the light hit them and they 'stood out'. It's funny, anything that's "blocked (temp gauge and fuel level) I can monitor on these gauges and the car has a temp gauge in the screen you see between the gauges, so I'm good to go. I love these things already!

Neon4Life: Thanks!
Doyle: yup, there's so much you can monitor on these little things it's awesome, even actual tq figures in real time! (can you tell I've been playing with the features? lol)
MyNeonSaysHi: lol, that's what I get for letting the car run while I set everything up initially. Lots cooler when I drove it to work this morning though. Ambient air temp was 62*, post IC temp didn't go past 51*!

Yay big intercooler!
hybrid-Srt2001: me too!

Just did the new motor mount this morning. It was a super easy install and best of all, I felt no vibes afterwards when I ran the car for a bit. At the same time I installed a K&N filter too (yay loud turbo spool sounds lol).
Peektures!

Looks good. I'm not too partial to the look of the HHR, but you're keeping it very clean.

Yeppers bro. Not using the tbolts this time since that was part of the problem (not enough 'clamping' area for them to be any good).

Thanks! As far as dyno numbers, I dynoed at 259 hp, 250 lb/tq. That was brfore the intercoolen + K&N filter went on. Once I get the IC piping on I'll get it tuned then go for another dyno run. I should be somewhere in the low 300 hp range once I'm done.

I've never liked the HHR but i can honestly say your car single handedly changed that. I like every aspect of it especially the gauges... thumbs up to you sir

OK we have progress updates!
The Pedders springs are installed and are phenomenal! The ride's not too stiff and the drop is perfect. It's amazing what a small drop can do for looks. I have a full audio setup now that consists of a Pioneer AVH-P4200DVD headunit, and Pioneer high end components in the front doors and high end coaxials in the rear doors. Bass is supplied by twin Alpine Type R subs of the 12" variety in a sealed Bassworx box. All speakers are powered by Polk Momo amps: a C400.1 for the door speakers (100Wx4 RMS) and a C500.1 for the subs bridged @ 2 ohms (545Wx1 RMS). Oh! there's also a Tsunami 40-farad digital cap hidden away under everything. As always, let me know what you think guys. I have one or three things left to mod but for now, pictures!
Audio setup:
Headunit

Door speakers (custom flush mounted tweets-too big for the stock A pillar location)

Subs n amps (cap's hidden underneath):
New Stance pics:

Better shot of the LED tails

3rd brake Namesake:

Side profile after: yummies!
