i do mainly neons and vw's. but i'm doing an 85 camero right now as well. so i'm open to try anything
Niice! I'd like to see if I can get a set done for my HHR SS. I'd have to source the headlamps for ya (I've heard they're a PITA to pop open, something about "several heating cycles"?), so it may be a while though... (Question: How expensive would it be to source those crazy Q45 style HID shrouds?? The ones that look like a flower, you know which ones I'm talking about?)

Ok, I gotta quetsion bro..

"Demon Eyes"... To make them like that, do you put a led into the projector itself or do you just paint the shield so it reflects the color??

I've been reading up on alot info on hidplanet and I plan on retro'ing a set pretty soon. (e55's maybe but I pushing towards the fx35's)

Great job by the way..

with the demon eyes i took two leds per reflectors, and attached them that way thats so the color will project outwards

painting the sheild will reflect the what ever color you chose when looking at the projector head on as light hits it.

i used the flash here to show the effect

ok after alot of testing this and that with these; i've finally made progress. i haven't be able to locate my camera usb cable to upload pics, so i went and got one today.

so on with the pics:

1 acura tsx projectors
Image

2 housing cut to fit

the original plan was mount the projector to the reflector (you'll notice holes made in the previous pics) the bolts wouldn't be visible since i'm gonna be vacu-forming these. however, after bolting these up the reflector began to bow. so i had to come up with a new solution.

i decided to make a bracket out of the scape acrylic i have from vacuforming.

3 sheet of acylic

4 heated on the edge of a table to bend

5 mocked up a template and transferred
Image

6 cutout, painted, and test fitted

7 upper bracket made

8. assembly

up next is to deal with a problem
one of the projectors has a broken cutoff shield, i have to order another reflector bowl to fix this problem.

vacuforming pics on the way!!!!

Those look sweet! If I had the cash, parts and found a harness for H13 bulb, I'd totally pay you to make a set for my Caliber.

You just said in Crystal's thread, you don't like the look of them. He hasn't done them for an 00-02 yet, but said it shouldn't be too much of a problem.
