Well, since we're showing off Rustoleum...

Here's 2 of mine: (Not quite as good as Tam's but close)

My 'custom' Rustoleum color cost $82 because I had to buy double the paint to mix.

I've seen people spray professional grade paint and it look worse than that.

Looks like we have a rustoleum-"hatter"
It only looks like that because it isn't wetsanded with 2000 grit and buffed yet. That is just the bare paint as it is and it isn't a finished picture. And it was Jeff's first time doing it, he didn't practice much. I taught him that in a few minutes lol. Me, however, practiced on a few things before did mines.

just got some very good new tonight as well, a friend of mine has a friend who wants to get rid of his srt4 the whole car for between $2000 and $2500 the only issue is it has no title, he lost it ,and it needs a megasquirt
not set in stone yet but it lookin good so then my little tink tink might be getting a new motor ,interior, rear disc brakes, exhaust, and hood , then parting the rest of it out
crossen my fingures lol

He can have the car re-titled for a small fee. At least in RI you pay 51.50 for a new title if you lose yours for any reason. And why does it need a megasquirt, you really don't see SRT owners using those.

the ecm dont recegnize the motor and im not telling him how easy it can get retitled lol
sorry for the spelling lol

That's the weirdest thing I've ever heard.....what is it a non-SRT PCM? Or a non-programmed PCM?

holy crap man it hasn't been 18 hours yet.

but you have PM and pictures. progess looks good, im wondering if your door handles will last, thats one reason to go rustolum, cheap to repaint too.

I was wondering about the door handles too. It seems like inevitably they will crack. Molding plastic to metal isn't a great idea. I hope for your sake that it hold up though.

they are bondoed in and then on top on that they got fiberglassed to make a smoother finish
the only way they should crack is if they are hit hard
i know all about bondo lol its only good for a filler not the final lay down

When do you plan to try out the rustoleum technique?
I just remembered that it's best to do this kind of paint job during the summer when it's very warm outside. But now it's fall/winter so it would probably take longer to dry/cure.

i still have alot of work to do to the car yet so i might just wait till summer and leave it in primer for now
but if i get a chance i will just thrw a heater in my garage

A heater still won't help you, I would wait until the weather is warm enough to do it the right way.

Those bondo'd handles will crack over time from vibration.
You're safer off shaving them completely. Oh well, nice effort though...

You're already missing a chunk of your front bumper.

by toddw814
no that was there before i started fixing it i still have to fix that hole .there was one on both sides but i fixed the one side and just haven't got around to fixing the other side you go to the first page and look at the bumper before i lowered it you can see both of them
i have just been occupied by the side skirts
next will be the rear bumper then i will fix the front bumper

yep its in the middle of the woods there is abunch of them an old base of some sort
thats also what im standing on in the over head shots
just got the side skirts on today heres some new pics of them on the car
i still need to mold them in to get rid of the lines but next is dropin the rear bumper
you can see at he top were the skrit meets the door looks a lill raged but its get fiberglassed over so it will disappear and there is a few flaws i still got to sand out a lill but i need to buy more bondo glass to do the little touch ups
