i mean im at a point where cost to power plays in srt rods and pistons AEM FIC rrfpr my fuel systems set to handle it if i go n/a best goals ill get without some serious work is 180-200 on the 2.4 and thats gonna get pricey and a bit more unreliable then 8psi srt internals and a decent tune. im still tossing ideas around but i think boost is where im gonna end up going mabe a crower stage 2 cam for a little lope before the turbo kicks overBlackRoseRacing wrote:what sucks about N/A Vs Forced induction is compression. If you stick with N/A you want to bump the compression up but if you go forced induction you want to lower it. You get to a certain point where you have to make the decision on which way to go before you go any farther....

So wait.. You can't spend that kind of money but your motor is gonna be built big?
I think your best bet is another motor. Because you only have one car, Once that motor goes or something else happens your fucked.
Hell I have 2 cars and I'm still doing it. It will cost more, but I will have pretty much a brand new motor with almost no downtime in between.
Run the car n/a like you say, and build a separate big motor.
Just trying the save you the headache. Save the money and build it slow. These cars are still fun fast, and you will thank yourself for doing it this way once you have a dependable motor, not something half assed because you had to hurry up and get it running to drive it.

if this is not your daily then go full tilt, I have a beater that is turn key and go, the heat works and recently I got the ac to work. if my r/t craps out I still have a backup driver. If this is your toy, then I'd go with a 2.4/TD dodge rods/SRT pistons and install the new TD04 turbo I have sitting right here
This would put you in the 250hp range....
