i think those tails are just gonna be a reason for the cops to pull u over....they are way too dark...but other then that the car looks good bro

Not around here they don't. Seems to vary from state to state. The ONLY place to get it around here is at Summit racing.

well a little update on what i might be doing as far as exhaust goes for now

i was searching some old posts and came upon this one

check out posts 8,17,25.
it sounds good. not too loud but just good enough for what i want.

the actual Magnaflow website wants like $164 or around there without shipping. found that same muffler on ebay for $94 shipped.

oo one question. my RT already has a resonator in the midsection pipe. if i cut out the resonator adding regular exhaust piping in its place along with the Magnaflow muffler does anyone suspect that itll be louder with some raspyness sounding.

o yeah and taillights will go on tomorrow. ill post some pics after washing and detailing her.

I personally wouldn't cut out the resonator on a 2.0 that would make it sound tinny.

Im guessing make it sound like a RC car. haha. And for the Niteshades try Pepboys if theres one in your area. Also Rustoleum Has tint spray too. I saw it at Autozone

I Have no idea. It was half the price of Niteshades but ive never used it. I wana try it out someday but meh.

If you cant fine the VHT go with the Rusto or find a hobby store and Find this>>> Pactra RC tint

Only bad shit bout the Pactra stuff is that it fades BUT a good clear should keep that from happening

Tinny = Sounds like tin, sounds like shit, sounds too raspy and whiny. Resonators are there to make a better sound.....if there is nothing for the air to resonate through.....it sounds like ass on an NA car. Actually sounds like ass on an SRT too. I've heard a few who deleted their stock resonators....oh it was terrible.

anyways.. passed by the Exhaust shop and got an estimate. told him i had a Mag muffler to put on and how much would it be. He said that it should be no more than $30 or $40. I shall be ordering it sometime this weekend..hopefully.

As for those tinted tails...yeah. Looks like he used black spray paint.

I wouldn't mess with them until it warms up. I personally have some things I want to paint, but I can't do to it being cold out. Ideal temp would be atleast 70 I would guess..

UPDATE:

wow havent posted anything on my log for a whole week. well not much has changed or has it. see for your self.

the magnaflow muffler and magnaflow tips will be ordered tonite. i just had someone give me an offer i just couldnt refuse on my stock RT muffler. so out with the old and in with the new. i should have it welded on the car by Friday evening.and ill post a video of it. dont quote me on that tho.
