Is that just the design of the tip then? To look like a tip over a tip?

Yea looks to me like the slid the new tips on the exhaust piping not the tips. Instead of cutting the exhaust piping and welding the tips on flush, they just left them in so the piping is inside the tip. Would look much better with no piping inside there.

they just slid the new tips on the piping thats welded to the muffler, seems to me like it was as easy way out instead of welding the piping flush to the tip

no..

i see what he did now.

i just went and checked it. i didnt see it yesterday when i looked at it. but the right one does look like crap. he did slide the tip over the exhaust pipe he had made up.

i already called them and told them im taking it back to get fixed and that i want it done rite this time.

Tell him you want both pipes cut flush and the tips welded flush to the pipe.

yeah i told him that the first time. but this time i wont be nice about it. and i told him that i aint going to be paying anything because i told him the first time that, thats how i wanted it. im also going to make him push the tips a little farther in.

i got a video of the car. nothing too special. actually recoreded it with my phone. wich doesnt look too bad. but it sounds louder on the video than in person. but thats because its a phone recorder. ill upload in a sec.

You should have gone with a full cat/back exhaust system, simple bolt on, but if you must stay with that one get done right. What you should do is supervise as they do the work, to make sure it gets done the way you want it.

He should have sleeved an expanded pipe and welded it to that.
