Looks good. Not sure if all the yellow is overkill inside though. Seats yea, but idk about door panels.

Very nice though.

yeah im gonna tastefully mod it this time. and yes im gonna do all those mods before carlisle of 2010.. and yes first time driving a 5spd. i just took it around town and ehh. it didnt die on me and its easy. i still gotta work on letting off the clutch a little but im ok for never even sitting in a 5spd car and attempting it.
j-king wrote:nice man good find and price
yeah i know rite.. i drove 2 hours to go get it. but it was worth it. it sat at this dealership for only like a week. as this 23 yearold girl traded it in for a pontiac. its only had 2 owners in its life.
heydockyle wrote:Looks good. Not sure if all the yellow is overkill inside though. Seats yea, but idk about door panels.

actually no.. the yellow isnt overkill. it looks really nice inside. i like it. i although gotta get some touch up paint and touch up the front bumper and rear as they have ur normal rock chips on them. and no i wont go over puddles once the intake is on it.

theres a shake when i stop but i narrowed it down to the brake rotors. so im changin those out along with with pads on saturday.

o yeah and i also forgot to add eyelids to my mod list.

thanks everyone for likeing it. i wasnt sure if yall would like it.

From offtopic thread:
ill have an srt in june tho. just not rite now. cant afford insurance while im going to college.
Why mod this one then? Keep it stock and save monies. :)
Or just hold onto this one and forget the SRT. Looks very nice and remember, that R/T is more rarer(sp) than a SRT-4. Specially that year. Awesome price too. How many miles on it?

well rite now idk about the srt4.. i just said what was on my mind at the moment of typing that..

i think i will end up driving this rt neon for a very long time. yeah it is rare to find a rt being 03 and with that kinda interior. sadly it has 109k miles. its alot. but ill take care of it.

nice man, glad you got something good. At least you've got money leftover to spend now. I like the interior, someone went through a lot of trouble to do that. Cant wait to see how it turns out!

Bettery make the t-belt and water pump and tensioner a priority. Or you'll be redoing the head like I just got done doing on my 1st gen. Not fun.

And hows this one run compared to yours lol.

Comparing this one to my old other neo..well I love the rt. Need say more.. it seems to have more power..durr being rt and being 5spd. But it runs awesomely. It however couls use an intake and exhaust to wake it up a bit.

I was thinking the same thing.
Yeah, definately get that done. Its wayyyy easier to do with a SOHC motor. But if you have a shop do it with all Mopar parts, be ready to fork around $600.

Do CAI's honestly do anything on a NGC car?

Didn't you hydrolock your motor from a CAI before your wrecked your car?

I would stay away from them.

Wow, am I that much of a pain? I didn't think about the possiblilty of a changer when I saw the pre-purchase pics. Now add a stock Kicker subwoofer to your list of mods. Car looks great and I'm glad that you decided to stay away from the Dark Side.

ehh when i first added it to my auto neon i actually felt the little gains. but the reason i hydo locked it was because there was no splash guard and nothing was stopping the water from getting to the filter. the intake does help out a bit tho. but im not gonna get into arguments on whether it does work or not. im just getting one to get rid of that big stock box that i dont like sitting there.

no i was just letting you know. lol. i didnt see it either until i looked far down there in person. like i hate it being so far down. but ehh it works great. and ok ill get a sub woofer. i left out alot of things that im gonna do to it.
