Finally I start my own progress thread.. My 1st thread was when I modded a civic lip to fit the 02 bumper.. I didn't consider it as a real progress thread. I seen it more as a how to.. This thread will cover everything I do to my car for now own.. I have alot of ideas that I've been working on since I got my car back.. I'll be modding a hell of alot so please check up on me and help motivate me to do more..
I don't really like typing as much cuz it suxs..

Progress:
Well lets get started shall we..
I wrote out everything I wanted to do today on my lil board.

Yesterday I ordered another srt gauge pod and dark slate interior spray can.. I picked those up early this morning and while I was out, I picked up another dash, a set of a-pillars and another armrest.. The dash and pillars will be going in the car while the armrest will be sitting on the back burner for vacuum forming (see my picture thread for more details on that).
I decided to get another dash so I more have more time to work on my Custom Frogeyed Dash..

It doesn't need that much more time to be finished but I rather use that time to work on the car more so that it can get some paint..
Here's my old modded Srt gauge pod that I made to work with the non srt dash next to the new gauge pod..

{The Srt Gauge is forsale.. It stills at zero and will come with a blue 194 inverted led and pigtail.. Pm me if you're interested..

My glowshift boost gauge is the same length as the Srt stocker which is very good but the mounting screws are in different locations..

And my glowshift Fuel Pressure Gauge is longer than the stocker and doesn't really sit in the pod too good..

So I had to hollow out both pods in order to house the glowshift's.. Dremmel Away!!!!!

After that I taped them together in a staggered position and test the look on the dash..

Then I took the dash and pods downstairs to the car and mounted the pods using high strength double sided tape... Yep that what I said, double sided taped.. I used it ont he edges where the pods will meet the dash..

Looks about right.. So I took the dash mounted pods back upstairs to prepare for surgery.. I unscrewed and unpopped the insert off and outlined where it needed to be chopped..

Test fit..

Needed a lil more trimming for the wirring and boost hose..

I reinstalled the insert and marked where it needed to be cut.. Then I took the insert back out and began trimming..

Another test fit and everything was ready to go back in car..

I then began prepping the a-pillars for the stick srt interior paint.. I grabbed a scuff pad and scuffed them up a bit.. Then I hit them with 2 coats of adhesive promoter... and lastly 2 shots of color..

And finally installed the a-pillars and dash with pods.. Which came out very Great..

The dash was cake walk since I've had some experience doing it multiply times..

Here's the radio relocator which is actually the cd chubby holder..

I might have to end up pushing this piece to my weekday projects cuz it really doesn't need alot of time to finish..
I also have to get some paint for it cuz it'll be matched to the car..
My package came in today that contained these bad boys..

I'm gonna put these on tomorrow as well as my front inner wheel well plastic..
These will soon replace the fog deletes once I work some fiberglass magic on them..

I tried the vacuum formed plastic on them but I didn't like the way they came out.. So I'll be making fiberglass covers on them instead...
Might move them to the week projects as well..
Bout to

Later..
