Zack: yes and no.. Fab work, not that much.. Body work/sanding, yea.. I had to use fiberglass matte cuz I couldn't get the cloth around all the edges so there will be alot of sanding and some filler..

More updates..
Trimmed it down and did another mock on on the bumper/lip..

The center bottom piece is pissing me off.. I'm gonna have to make another piece just for the bottom to give it more strength and then glass it as one piece..

Went upstairs and grabbed the straight pieces, tape, and binder clips..

Trying to get the bars to look good and straight..

Looks good..

Took the diffuser off, went upstairs, and made some notes..

The good: I have everything lined up...
The bad: The diffuser needs to be on the bumper so I can fiberglass the bars in.. Damn rounded neon body..

Wanted to get this mostly done before the weekend but it looks like I'll have to do it on the weekend..

Saturday looks to be no rain so I can get it done..

Time to get the side skirts inserts done..

Just to enclose the exhaust shroud.. The whole area will be cut out though.. Just did those lil openings for now cuz I didn't want the entire piece to be flimsy..

Back to the Side Skirt Inserts...

Knocked out the Drivers Side this morning..

And gave the Passenger Side some more material..

Gonna finish these terds before weekend so i can start setting up the rear add-ons to match them..
I haven't forgotten bout the AVS Trunk Lid, I'll more then likey knock it out on Sunday..

me too.. Hope to get the fab work done this weekend to start the body work portion..

Lost track of time yesterday. Soon as I got back home it was time to head back out to work so I didn't touch the pieces at all..

Just sanded down the bondo-glass and added some filler..

Starting to not like how the rounded front piece of the inserts look..
Will play with them more after the show..

Good news is that I bought another power adder.. Awaiting its arrival..

Took the tape off, trimmed away some of the foam, and glassed it..

Add-ons were trimmed, sanded, and coated..

Planning on gettin them and the inserts done on Thursday so I can have Friday morning and all day Saturday to finish the Trunk Lid for the Show..
The Diffuser piece will be on hold til after the show.. I'll work on it at bit Saturday and still show it at the shop but it won't be done..

must be nice to live where its warm all the time. Snowed today so no work soI decided to read through all 44 pages of your log.

Work is turning out very nice, you remind me of when I had to design and make a sebring conv. body kit from scratch. Keep it up and I REALLY can't wait to see it painted and done.

That pinstripe looks great man. As for the 1gn, im telling you from driving estienmaiers daily, just 2.4 swap it and you'll have one of the funnest neons eva!! Lots of torque down low and just a fun ass daily.

For some reason, the pintripe doesn't look straight. It looks like it's raising up toward the rear. lol. But it does look really good. Are you keeping that there after the paint job?

Thanxs Andrew.. Its been my best purchase by far besides the r/t front...

Tam: Lot of factors bro... The driveway isn't leveled, the 1gn spring I'm on didn't even out the car, etc.. They're straight though.. I checked alot times..
And yes I'm definitely gonna keep the idea for the real paint..
