I started my log after the project started so I don't have a real good starting picture. This is my 02 base model. I bought it to commute in 04, and wound up getting a SRT-4 motor by chance. Two years latter I am finally getting it together.

The 2.0 with 120000 miles.

The bent SRT rods that came in the engine.

The 2.0 head with 120000 miles on it.

The new eagle rods.

The engine starting to come together. The machine shop polished the crank when I had everything balanced.
Image

My Brian Crower stage two cams. I wanted to get a good pic where you could see the different lobes, but it did not come out well. I also have crane valve springs.
Image

The block decked, and cylinders honed.

The engine is starting to come together.

The clutch masters stage one clutch.
Image

The AGP turbo kit. I found the GT2871R kit for $2050. I know the GT3071R would be better, but I wanted a ball bearing and only had enough for this kit.

The T850 I drove to Texas to get.

I have mopar stage two injectors. The 683cc injectors. I also grabbed a hondaka intake gasket.
Image

I have the MTx 62mm throttle body.
Image

Image

I installed a walbro 255L fuel pump and AGP fuel regulator with return line.
Image

Image

I had rear drum brakes, so I got srt-4 brakes. I also have tokico shocks and struts, eibach lowering springs. You cant tell by the pictures, but I replaced all my bushins with energy prothane bushings.
Image

Image

I needed to mod the radiator suport to get my IC in.
Image

Image

I am going to paint it myself. I just ordered the long flexible blocks, sprayer and primmer Friday. I had some small body spots I had to repair.

I have taken the head of again, because I read to many reports of blown head gaskets. I have ARP head bolts and ordered a Cometic head gasket. As soon as it comes in. When that comes in I will get the motor in the car.

Thanks for the great feed back guys. I am painting it Midnight Blue. I liked the color, but the biggest reason I picked it was so I didn't have to go crazy inside door jams and and engine bay. Srtjesse is correct the rods are eagles. I decided to go with a better head gasket and a new timing belt tensioner. Both are in the mail as soon as I get them, I can put the engine back together. The following Sat. I will stab the engine.

Yes, I am making some progress I haven't had a chance to take pictures recently. I am not that computer savvy. It takes me a couple hours to do a good post. I just haven't taken the time maybe Friday night or Saturday night.

I got my sprayer and some DTM epoxy primer from Kustom paint(TCP global). I got a cheap spray gun kit and flexible blocks and some 220 and 320 grit paper that comes in a roll and has adhesive on the back to stick to the blocks. I also had 400grit wet/dry paper for the final primer sand. I have not actually primed the car, but I did wipe it down good with alcohol and mix up 150ml of primer and play a little. I know nothing about painting a car and am experimenting my way through. Any advice would be appreciated.

I also hung the engine in the bay. I going to get the engine in the bay and the hood on then I am going to secure a piece of plastic over the engine and the IC then finish painting. I double checked the timing by turning the engine over by hand several; times making sure the timing marks lined up. I did dob bone mounts with a insert from neon goodies on the trans side. The IC is the MPx from MP and I used AGP IC pipes. I have a used greddy BOV. The dash board is being removed, however this has turned out to be really tough. I have a SRT gauge cluster and dash wiring harness.
